Altering bra straps by hand?
Ive read Dressing Curves and have finally worked up tye courage to move my straps in because they are a bit too wide. Problem is I dont have a sewing machine. Nor do any of my friends. Has anyone altered too wide straps by hand? Can it be done?

I have indeed done this alteration by hand. My sewing machine has had *issues* and is currently getting fixed.
... I like to use backstitch which is zig-zagging on the main elastic, and 2-3 rows straight across on the strap itself. Think like the way that CK constructs their bra strap attachments (only better placed :D ). I can draw you a picture if you'd like that.
