Curvy Kate Tease me Sizing/fit

So, I'm a broke college student and I've been crushing on the Curvy Kate Tease me ever since I realized that it will possibly work for me. I look more projected, but am shallow and only shallow shapes work for me (I think I have the infinity boob I've read about here). So far, my best fitting bra is the Masquerade Rhea (6121) in a 28FF. There's a little bit of gaping and a little bit of quadboob, but the wires are a good enough width for me and it looks good under t-shirts. I also tried the Curvy Kate Thrill Me [showgirl Collection] (SG3001) in 28FF. This fits alright. The wires aren't quite wide enough and there is a tad bit of gaping on my smaller breast.

Now, I've read that the tease me fits differently than the thrill me, and every post I've read said that you should go up a cup or two in the tease me. So, I came across the tease me in a 32F for really cheap on ebay and decided to try it. I knew the band would be too big (I've been considering 30 bands anyhow), but figured that the cup would be reasonable 32F->28G. I can't afford most of the 28FF/G's that I've come across, and since it was cheap went for it. The cups are at least a full cup size too big, maybe more. So, I'm wondering, does the larger band cause the cups to be taller? The measurements between the 28G and 32F seem to be similar, and it would be a surprise to me if the 28G would be so large on me.

I do understand that the scoop and swoop might not hold completely, but it seems to! I'm just wondering if it would be better for me to look for a 28FF or F. I've seen a few F's, but I've just assumed that they're too small.

  • H_Allice a too big band will often make cups appear too big, sometimes even if they are too small volumewise. You need the stability of a correctly fitting band to hold the cups in the correct position on your torso- while the band is too big it's impossible to judge fit on cups accurately, even if the bra seems to hold scoop and swoop.

It's up to you really what you do, but your best options really are to either take this band in enought so that it fits like a 28/30 (showgirl 28's are more like a true to size 30) and then judge how it affects your cup size, or try and get hold of a 28FF.

Just a word of warning on the tease me- what you think is a good fit/maybe borderline too big often becomes dramatically too small once you adjust the straps (they're very stretchy so I find I have to tighten them a bit more than I'm used to) and scoop and swoop. They're a bit of a pain really but they're just so gorgeous and tavern wenchy that I have to keep mine.

  • I discussed my Tease Me experience just a while ago in another adventure.

I usually wear 28F (for example Masquerade Rhea / Rosetti) and sometimes 28FF (like Juna, Andorra). I have shallow boobs.

Last year I ordered Tease me in black/wine 30E and altered it to 28F. The cups were gaping in the top! Then I moved the straps closer to the center (-> less gaping but it was not gone completely). Then I tightened the ribbon in the cups (-> no gaping).

Recently I bought Tease me in 28E, (colour light blue / white) and the cups are not gaping. The cups are a little too small, areolas showing plus slight quadboob, but I think 28E is better than 28F (or 30E).

-> I have to size down in the cups! Technically the fit is still not perfect, but...
