Shallow Shape

So, I'm now convinced that I am shallow shape, but I was having some issues with figuring out what "shallow" means forever.

The image I first saw of "shallow" is from Venusian Glow's website. (http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-hnIpeGDU2WE/UEYGVHZOCgI/AAAAAAAAA20/AkCVXUtLzcE/s1600/shallow+breasts.jpg)

Just googleing the shape, I came across this image that describes my shape (http://smallcupbras.com/images/breast-tissue-eves-apples.jpg).

The second image confirms that my shape is shallow, but I'm confused as to how they can both be shallow? They do not seem to look similar.

I guess when I'm wearing a bra, my breast tissue does obviously go up way high like in the Venusian Glow image, but it still has the same shape as the second image.

Also, the Freya half-cup bras are too high for me. Are there any less-high half-cup bras that wokr for shallow shapes?

Sorry about the links, I wasn't able to figure out how to add multiple links through the add a link thing.

  • The first link I would say isn't showing shallowness at all, it is showing fullness. The first one is slightly empty, the last one very full and the middle one... well medium. You can have shallow full breasts and shallow half-empty breasts. Shallowness is about projection in relationship to the size of the base of your breast.

  • Geez - based on those links I'm "Medium" (or even full, which I know for sure makes no sense), and not shallow. However, I've learned that I am indeed shallow. My breast roots are wide, but relative to my wide root, my projection is less. I wouldn't try to follow the information on those links because they are meant to simplify an issue that turns out to be remarkably complicated! They don't take the base of the breasts into consideration, and they all look "balanced".

(I based my comments on how I look without a bra, because I assumed that's what the images were trying to show. If they are supposed to show breasts in a bra I am completely confused by them.)
