Width of your underbust vs. breast volume *rant ahead*

So I went through several sizes through the years with weight gain and loss. This is going to be a bit of an unstructured rant. But I'm so tired of being told to loose weight to get smaller boobs and to relieve my pain. I did not choose my rather narrow ribcage nor my weight gain pattern which makes me gain weight in my chest a lot!

I'm also over people telling me they don't see a problem because I carry my boobs well at my size (16 UK) and I look proportionate. YES I do everything I can with bras / clothes to downplay my breast size and dress modestly so they don't look that large! I hate summer where everyone can see my actual size! I don't want the attention!

I am currently at 80cm / 32inch underbust. My breast volume is JJ/K cup.
What If I had 90cm underbust with the same volume? I used the calculator and it gave me 36G/H.
That would be a much easier size for me to manage!
With my current size I have constant back and neck pain and can barely do any exercise. My life is a nightmare. I just can't deal with it anymore.
Sadly I cannot change my ribcage size, nor my breast volume by will or just with weight loss.

If I loose more weight my underbust would probably go down to 70cm/ 28inch (which it was when I was at my lowest weight) but my breast volume would have to go down a lot more than just 2-4 cup sizes for me to be manageable. I probably would end up in 28K/L.

So if I had a wider ribcage (now talking just about bones) I would have it easier with my big boobs. So I'm really over people telling me to just loose weight when I complain about my breast size!
If it were that easy I would have done it years ago and be a 32G! It's the same as someone who wants a bigger chest cannot just gain weight to get to their desired size either.

  • Yes, I agree w you completely, 80cm is smaller than average (at least in Canada) to begin with., I read that the most common bra size here is 34FF.

  • BraOdyssey I think 34FF makes sense. But it depends if how they measured the bra size. Like we do it here or like Stores like VS does measure customers?
If I would use plus 4 method I'd be a 36 band which would not give me enough support.

It's weird since my underbust is smaller than even my waist - and I hardly ever wear a belt under my bust or super duper tight top to show that off so I look bigger than I am in most clothes. I kinda do not make sense they way I am built :D
