Okay... So I'm really curious
Does anyone share this shape with me? (NSFW) Words can only say so much, pictures speak much louder. I feel like such a weirdo when it comes to sports bras, because nothing covers my boob-bulge. (Yes, I just called a part of my boobs boob-bulge, I thought it was funny, like how a boner can't be fully tamed inside a pair of boxers, my boobs can't be tamed inside a bra because they bust out waaaaaaaay above the cup fabric and in the middle)
If there is somebody here that shares this shape with me, I have a piece of advice for you regarding sports bras. Just flat out give up about sports bras available on the market (well, it might be worth a shot if you have wider roots than me, I have really narrow ones). Your best bet is to wear a *really* well-fitting regular bra and find a compression sports bra that fits snugly and with high enough coverage. You might have to sew it yourself.

That's me! Not so much the shallowish or the slightly wide-set, but the extremely tall upper fullness. I've never bothered with a sports bra before, because I haven't bothered much with sports (shameful I know), plus there really hasn't been suitable options in my size. The sports bra horizon keeps expanding behind my boob horizon.
I wonder if this is similar to what Aaa has when she lies down?
I know what you mean by shallowish and slightly wide-set. It really comes off as that in pictures but in reality I need "normal" depth cups or even deep ones and wide gores would push my boobs too far to the side, they wouldn't settle because they're so firm. I think I know why I come across as shallow in the boob department and that is because of my FOTT shape combined with the size of my breasts. Since they're not uber-big, they simply cannot project much and the extra "cube" stacked on top of my boobs makes the depth seem relatively small. The slightly wide-set look though... I'm not too sure why that is because it doesn't translate to what I need in bras. Average-wide and narrow gores. Maybe it's my small stature, anything that looks "wide" on me is maybe average or small on somebody else.
I would be so happy if someone else could post pics like mine, I fully understand though if nobody does because after all, it's really revealing.
