Boobs. And more boobage.

I don't swoop and scoop. I have found that it does absolutely nothing because my breasts are fairly firm, self-supporting, and I have no tissue migration. I do always shimmy the wire up to make sure it is sitting in the boob fold. I used to wear 34C, because it was easily found. I knew I needed a way tighter band and got all excited when I found a 32D Wacoal bra at TJMaxx once because the band was a little tighter. Anyways, after that I got sick of wearing too big bands and just wore those awful stretchy Bandeau bras that do absolutely nothing. And then I decided I might as well shop online for bras because I buy everything on line anyways. I found my correct size, ordered some, etc. This was about 4 months ago that I started wearing the correct size. THE WHOLE POINT OF THIS is that even though I don't swoop and scoop and I had no tissue migration, my breasts STILL grew in that short time. I went from a 28E/F to a 28G. Uh, yeah. What. I don't know if I really did have some long-lost missing migrated tissue, or if my breasts just decided to grow some more, but if that is the case it is suspicious that it only happened right when I started wearing the right bras. And I've been the same bra size since I was 14. (I'm 20).
I've come to the conclusion that what happens is that these bra-fitting sites and blogs magically make people's boobs grow more. Yup, that's it.

  • The point of scooping and swooping isn't to prevent "migration", it's to where the bra correctly so that it encompasses any and all breast tissue.

  • The thing with swooping and scooping is... It's meant to really gather and collect all of your breast tissue making sure nothing gets stuck underneath the underwires or behind them, it's just a bonus if MBT (migrated breast tissue) migrates back. Not all women have MBT to begin with, but it can be migrated back by swooping and scooping IF you have it, since you're really gathering everything.
