Comexim and Ewa Michalak recs
Hi all! I'm finally in the market for a new bra or two. Apart from my Fauve half cups, long discontinued but going strong, I mostly have Comexims in my collection. My go-to size and cut right now is a 60HH 3HC with overlapping gore, straps moved in, and added depth above the wire as alterations.
For summer, I'd like something unlined, preferably with sheer/mesh cups. I have never ordered an unlined Comexim. I am thinking of requesting a custom 3HC in one of their unlined models with the same alterations I usually get. Should I go up or down a cup, or order the same size?
I haven't tried EM at all, so I am out of my element on sizes and cuts. They also have some sheer unlined bras, but I can't find any half cups currently. My problem with unlined balconettes, or balcony bras in general, is always the top horizontal seam section. I have very soft tissue with little upper fullness and I get in-cup quad very easily. Hence half cups being my jam. But that is generally based on experience with UK bras. Maybe there is an EM cut that is soft/empty-on-top friendly.
Any advice on sizes or cuts to try?
