Olá!

So, I was just wondering (and I confess I haven't done a major search about it yet), how do sizes work in polish brands.
I have seen some nice bras in Comexim, Wiesmann and Dalia, but I have no idea how to choose sizing. I understand it will depend a bit on the brand and on the style, but maybe someone who is used to buy those bras as well as brands like Panache, Curvy Kate and Freya, would be able to give an idea on the size comparison.
Another thing I heard about those bras is that they usually have narrow wires? That would be a bad thing for me... Do all polish brands tend to be like that? Or just some.

Any input you can give on this subject will be appreciated.
Thank you!

  • Polish brands are known for their narrow wires, so if you need a wide wire, you don't want Polish bras.
I haven't tried Wiesmann or Dalia, but can confirm Comexim wires are far narrower than Panache, CK, & Freya for sure. They also tend to have narrower gores as well.

How the sizing compares to those brands would greatly depend on your size range. For me, I wear a 60P/Q (28KK/L) (aka index size 28:16 /28:17) in Comexim, 30JJ (30:14) in Freya and Panache and a 30K (30:15) in CK due to the unavailable 28 band in larger cups. If the UK brands offered a cup that fit in a 28 band though, I would wear a 28K(28:15) and 28KK(28:16) instead.

@AGBras may be able to add more data since she has tried Dalia.

  • The narrow wires depend on the size. It is true for the big sizes but I do not think that the wires are noteably narrow in small size. I'm a 30D/DD and I think the wires are slightly narrow (Comexim Plunges) to average (Ewa Michalak, Comexim Halfcup, Sawren, Samanta, ..); Ewa Bien felt rather wide.
