Hello, all how is everyone? I hope all are as well as possible. I guess I’ll start out by saying that I am a straight male, and am here due to pain and discomfort when doing daily activities when unsupported, as I have moderate plus Gynecomastia. It is embarrassing in public, not because breasts are bad, but only because of having body parts that don’t fit with normal. And although I am overweight, I always had very small “man boobs” that were never a bother, or sensitive at all. About 2 years ago, I noticed that my chest had a dull ache under the nipples, and sometimes the pain would be quite high! But during this time I was about 50 pounds heavier, so the size never really increased. It was only when I was losing that they became more pronounced, and I noticed increased awareness, and sensitivity, that I thought something was not quite right. So when I was explaining to my very long term girlfriend, who is a nurse, she examined and her evaluation is real glandular tissue, and the projection appears to be in the smaller cup ranges for my band size. It was only when I reasearched and found the pain under my arms was probably migrated breasts, that I tried on one of her very tired, stretched cacique cotton underwire unlined bras in 46DD, did find the gore was flat (didn’t come close to filling the cup) but had pain in the underarm area. After “scooping” forward, the pains were gone, but the cup width, not depth, was filled. So we went shopping and I have 2 same models, both in 44, one in a C, and one in a D cup. Neither of them has an underwire wide enough for max comfort, but, both alleviate the major discomfort of uncontrolled movement, and bouncing when working, and driving a heavy haul truck. Sorry, for the long post, I just wanted all of the members to feel like I am not here for nefarious purposes, but actually for some assistance. I have tried to take some bra pictures, but they are no good, and will ask for her to take some for me tonight. I am here to seek a bra, that works, and if possible to redistribute the tissues that is in my underarms to the front, so when riding, sitting, or anything, it isn’t painfull to have my arms at my side for too long, and get minimal projection (when out or working, projection doesn’t matter at home), and not be too hot, or frilly. Now as I said home use doesn’t matter. Thank you all for your consideration, and help in advance.

  • Since you're a guy, I'd recommend checking out A Bra That Fits' size calculator. It has an option where you can indicate that you were assigned male at birth, and it should give you a decent starting point with what size to look for. https://www.abrathatfits.org/calculator.php You just need a soft tape measure (or a hard tape measure and some string to compare it to).

  • I did that, and their calculator, we now, after measuring, and trial and error find that instead of 50B (actual measurement) which was way too loose, that the band of 44 seems just right, the cups need to be fine tuned, when the photos of fit when posted should show what I maybe can’t explain? Could it be the migrated tissue to the sides cause the too large number? Not to seem ungrateful, though thank you for taking the time to suggest.
