I did something different along the lines of altering. I bought a 32 band from the little girls section and a T Shirt bra and cut the band off the T shirt bra and sewed the 32 band on.
The 32 band is a bit big, maybe closer to a 34, so I'm going to get a 30 band and alter again, this time I think I have a bra in my band that fits. I think this will work well and then I can do other things with bras, convertible and strapless-

I really want to do something like this since all the bras I love are 2-hooks and cause back pain that could be remedied by a 3 hook band. I need to get a sewing machine because I don't think it would work out by hand. Interested to see how well this works!
I hand sew all the time. I need to get special needles for the fabric I'm sewing.
Right now I use Sharps- for sewing anything , and I need to get quality thread,
I'm interested in a machine :)
