Converting Babydoll to normal bra

So recently I've bought 30F - Cleo » Marcie Babydoll (6835) and fits almost perfect ! The cups seems more like Something between E-F rather than F (comparing it to Lucy and Marcie in 34D). The only issue is the band that I can close but feels little too tight as for sleeping. I will not have a use of it as a babydoll, however I'd definitely keep as a bra and use it with extender.
My question is , did anyone tried to detach this babydoll part ? It's sewn in the band, but if I'd cut it carefully would this affect the bra later with loose threads or anything like that? It wasn't very expensive so that's the reason why I'd like to try. Btw I'd exchange it for normal bra in black or bordeaux colour

  • This Curvy Kate is designed differently, but I just used fabric shears to trim the tulle as close to the band as I could. I orginally thought the seam ripper would be a better idea, but scissors were much faster and significantly less effort.
