Bra fitting help » Too small, too big, or just wrong?

Issue resolved
Not a bra for me!
Original problem
Something is wrong, but I can't figure out if it's too small, too big, what! The straps dig into my shoulders, and there doesn't seem to be much lift :/ And it makes my normally full-in-the-middle boobs very flat in the middle, thus my bust becomes wider than my body.
Sometimes it looks like there is about to be some quadro-boob, and breast-tissue is caught under the center gore, other times it looks to big, and the fabric wrincles and there is gaping.
The fabric is very elastic.
My measurements are 34.5/45.5, so according to Change calculator, I should be 75, which fits very snugly, and off-the-charts in cup (they have not yet expanded their calculator past J)

helpfulI think this is mostly a style issue. If your boobs are very close together, plunge styles will probably work better for you than full coverage styles, that come up high between the boobs. Plunges are very low. In addition, some styles of bras also have a very narrow center gore (the part between your boobs), so have a look around Bratabase for some of those. Ewa Michalak is one brand that fits that category, but you have to see if you're willing to order from there, as they're in Poland and delivery/returns can take a while

helpfulFirst of all, Change really doesn't work good in large cup sizes. In general, choose a brand that does do the really large cups. Most large cup brands do atleast a brittish K-cup, which in Change sizes is an O-cup, and then I haven't even taken into account that the cup sizes only increase 2 cm in Change while it does increas 2,54 in the Brittish brands.
So, in your size I wouldn't even look to Change. That is my first and best recommendation.
Secondly, this bra is too small in the cup. The top of the cup cuts into your boobs slightly. The cups does not have enough depth for you either. Because it is too small and too shallow your boobs will push the bra down just to get room and you will look droopy.
Third, cups should never ever be stretchy. The stretch makes them less supportive as they will not keep the boobs still when moving.
So, both wrong style and wrong size I would say.
In your size I would really recommend you looking into better brands like Panache, Cleo, Masquerade, Freya, Fauve, Fantasie, Curvy Kate, Ewa Michalak, Bravissimo, Flirtelle etc. There are a lot of brands out there that will fit you a lot better.
With 34.5" around your ribcage you will most likely be 34 or 36 (75 or 80) in most brands, unless the bra runs really big och really tight in the band. Based on your measurements I would recommend a 34HH/75L to start with. However, that depends on your shape and how you have measured your bust measurement with or without a bra and if you have bent forward. If you have measured with a bra that doesn't fit properly it will affect your measurements a lot, and with larger boobs bending forward without a bra usually gives a bigger and better measurement.
When the bra is too small in the cups it can also feel too tight in the band. So, you might need a 80-band and it might just be that you need a larger cup.

Oh, great that you have found something a lot better! :) And, when you find your size in those it will probably be a lot easier for you to find your size in other brands too.
I'm from Sweden so I think we have a quite similar selections in stores here like you have, which sadly isn't much. Change is what many goes to because their out of affordable options. :/ The good thing about knowing your size in different styles and brands it that you will have the whole internet to look at for bras, which is quite an increase in a selection. :)
I have just tried some Curvy Kate's in 34H, and I think you are right I am a 34HH, so that rules out Change! Also, they gave me really bad fitting advice on another bra, so I am done! :) I found the padded Curvy Kates to be a really good shape for me (even though maybe a cup too small), so I will try to find more with that fit! Thank you :)
