This is the CH Biszkopty, for some reason it didn't show up on the list, and when I tried to add it, it said it was already listed https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_confused.gif" alt=":s" /> This could be it! The cups are very close together, which I like both to give the shape I want, and to fit my close set boobs. I know many people have all sorts of thumb rules of how EM bras fit, but I've got to say, I find this to run quite true to size. Maybe a slightly snugger band? Which is fine with me, I measure 33.5", so snugish 34's are good ...for me (I realize this is in fact a 36, silly me tried it on, and was so thrilled that I took of the tag, before trying the 75HH which I had ordered for comparison, which was in fact a better fit. *sigh* - so I close this on tightest hook, and will alter it if needed when/if it stretches) The shape that it creates* is exactly what I want: Front center, and 'outwards' rather than horizontally boobs on chest, or vertical boobs on chest (Eh, don't know if I explain properly, but many bras give wide boobs, and then some, push-up's and that sort of thing, also puts a lot of boob on the chest, but upwards toward the collar bone. I prefer to have them take up as little space as possible on the body, and go outwards instead) I got the most plain bra I could, as I like to wear white dresses etc, and this is perfect: I quite liked the looks of the Toffik, but I think it would have been too dark for me, and this is my skin tone almost exactly. It has very narrow wires, which is perfect! It is perhaps ½-1" too narrow on my left boob (the biggest) and ½-1" too wide for my right boob (the smallest - even with pad to correct asymmetri), so I would say that is pretty perfect! In other bras, it is ½-1" too wide on the big boob, and several inches too wide on the other! I was a little surprised by the material for the bras: I had hard so much about how luxurious they felt etc., and I didn't find that - I don't know what it is, it seems the thin padding is made of some material that makes a rustling sound when you touch it? But other than that, it is fine, the quality seems good, and even for the most 'boring' bra they had, it is quite cute! Decorated straps (fully adjustable), which also helps them stay in place, bows on the top of the cup and on the center gore, a little floral-lace with gold threads along the edge of the cup. I love it! And the band is soo comfortable! Very wide under the arms and all the way to the straps, gives good side support, and control some back-rolls, and then it plunges down a bit to the 3 hooks, so you don't need to worry that it will be seen under top which has a scoop on the back.
*There is a strange fold on it right now, which distorts the shape it could give, so let me get back to you on that one! Read more 448 more words
Very weird fit on me indeed, I'll leave it to the pictures to show (and also, hello breast asymmetri: Rarely is it THAT obvious) I'd say it could only work for someone with soft boobs with a large base, yet most volume at the apex.
The cups come up quite high at the straps, which is placed much further from the armpit than I'm used to.
The band is quite snug - not a whole band size difference, but definitely go with your larger band size.
The cups are very, very stiff - you could almost hear a knocking when knocking on it - and I could ...balance stuff on top of the cup on the table, without it collapsing, so again, good for soft boobies I'd say. And, you could double it as a strapless if you tuck in the straps, it doesn't change much shape from it, and felt rather stable.
It's very simple, very practical - the only ornaments are the little bow, and a shiny trim to the bottom of the band - even the straps are seamless! Would be very very smooth under clothing, and the material also feels smooth and non-clingy. Read more 91 more words
This is pretty good! Overall, I'll say perfect fit https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" /> I am very satisfied with the shape it gives me, and I feel very secure and supported. As I've done before, I took both the pads it came with, and put in my smaller side, and that is just about the perfect amount to make my boobs identical https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> The bra itself is so, so pretty https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" /> I am glad I got it in the cappuccino version, because it looks very low-cut and sexy under a not-so-opaque shirt, because it looks ...like the cappuccino color is my skin, so only the lace is covering me. It is super smooth an luxerious-feeling. So I really love this bra already https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> The straps would be difficult to make fully adjustable. I have not tried forcing the decoration through, though it may well be possible, but since I don't need it, I don't want to potentially damage anything. The band is less firm than some other Ewa bras I've tried, and I prefer it to be stretchy! The straps however are non-stretchy, and I think you can see on my pic why I prefer them more elastic: They can be adjusted nice and comfortable, but the firm-ness means they don't move with me, so if I lift my shoulder (to take a picture, for example) they dig in.
If we are to go into detail, fit wise:
There are slight signs that it is not completely compatible with my shape (which I knew from owning disastrous 34JJ's) -I would definitely NOT have it even a bit narrower! In fact, I'd prefer it to be maybe up to ½" wider at the bottom of my breast, where the root is widest. -It could never be even a hair more shallow at the bottom: A common problem for me, and what made the JJ's unwearable. I do get just the slightest orange-in-glass in this, but it's the least I've had in a padded bra, ever, so it's good! But, if it was more, I'd risk it folding in the empty space, which is what can literally ruin a good bra. I still have to watch this, make sure to dry it when stretched out etc. -The center-gore is flat, but not very insistingly :b There is no visible space between me and the gore, but I don't feel it touching me, so it could be 'flatter', but it's good as it is. ^These are things that could make you think I could size up. But: -I could not have more space at the top. There is ever so slight gaping - when standing straight, I can see a glimpse of the inside of the bra. If I roll my shoulders forward just a tiny bit, I can see a lot. So, good as it is, but not bigger. -There appears to be a quite small arm-hole. This is often the case of a too big cup with tightened straps (which may be true), but I can't size down due to reasons already listed. -It appears to be more full coverage: Larger sizes often tend to be made to be more full coverage, and when added that most of my volume is in the bottom of the cup, there simply isn't all that much to stick up of the cup. Also, this is comfortable on the inner-most hook from new, it could even be tighter and still comfortable, so I think next time I'll get 32KK instead. I think this may also fix some problems, because it will 'hold on' to what I scoop in: When I scoop, it isn't too narrow, and it isn't slightly gaping, but because it is a bit loose, the scooped slides out a little bit.
^All these are details, even though it turned out quite long :b It really is a great bra for me! Read more 555 more words
Anyways, it's too small on my large boob - both as seen by slight quadro-boob and a non-flat centergore. Bumme https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
The shape is definitely purple shape, http://brasihate.blogspot.dk/2012/01/what-exactly-is-good-shape.html and I am definitely more of a green-seeker, but I can't deny the front view of this is great. I'm still deciding whether to keep this. I got the set, and it looks so awesome I could just stare at it for hours, but sensible, I shouldn't keep it, as the bra is too small, and not the shape I want. But oh. I love it, haha :b
It is not as wide as Bravissimos other half cups, which is a welcome alteration I think.
The cup consists of 4 vetical panels, which gives that lovely cakes-on-a-plate look.
The band is very comfy, usual Bravissimo-snug, and nice wide seams which I think is essential for comfort.
TThis shape is much more compatible with my boobs than the PL's are. Though it is too small for me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> I think the band runs a bit loose. This gives the nice, uplifted, narrow shape and firm support as the CH's. The bra is way more beautiful in real life - I hadn't seen the sheer lace at the wing on the site, so it was a nice surprise. The lace is slightly more orange than the cup, and it all looks very nice. The inside of the cups are pink, and the outside is soft shiny peach colored. I had thought I could use this as a 'nude-ish' bra (for opaque white tops and not completely opaque colored shirts), but it really is too bright for that (for my skin tone at least, which tends to have golden undertones, rather than pink)
The shaping of my waist is much better in this size, as expected. However, as you can also see, the tighter back distorts the wire a bit, making the cup quadro-boob a bit + be even more east/west than it already is (and it's not exactly a cleavage bra as it is), so I will go back to the 34 backed one, and then maybe just hook it tighter at the waist.
It was difficult filling out the "how it fits"-bit, because, I have slightly assymetrical breasts, nothing you normally notice, and usually I can just tighten one strap a bit more, and there is no problem. But the upper section of this Olivia seemed to be unaffected at however I put the straps - the cups a bit small on my larger breast, and a bit loose on my smaller breast, and even when I had one strap loosened all the way, and the other tightened all the way, it made no difference. So for the large breast, the fit should have been set at: Can adjust straps loose ...enough, quad-boob effect. And on the smaller: Can adjust straps short enough, slight wrinkling at the top of the cup. This bra is not perfect for me, but pretty damn close. I don't want my boobs to be wider than my body at all, and this does it slightly, meaning they are less in front: I prefer that they literally go out in a 90degree angle from the center. Also, the band should be wider at the sides, and the wire should go up higher. Read more 85 more words
Really really impressed with this! Expected it to not hold up at all, but it sure did! Why have people not thought of boned cups before? I want to put bones in all my unlifting bras (=all of them) now! It amazing https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" /> And the firm, wide band was also excellent for holding up the weight. A nice detail is that for the straps, there are 2 places you can hook it on at the front - so both those that prefer wider or closer set straps can be comfy https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Annd, the non-slip rubber is ...at both the top and bottom of the band, and all along the bottom of the cups.
Now, to the bads: I wish the wires were a lot higher, so it could keep in my tissue: Usually tightening straps can make the wire sit firmer in the side, holding in tissue, so when wearing this as a strapless, tissue escaped - especially because it was too small in the cup. The top section closes in, and gives the most 'elf-shoed' boob I've ever seen. Overall, very minimizing! My boobs looked tiny!
If I needed it, I would proably reorder it in 36J to get a bigger cup, and then I could just wear it on the 2nd hook. But for now, it has satisfied my curiosity. Read more 126 more words
