This bra is so gorgeous yet simple! It manages to be subtly elegant with the lace and smooth knit fabric while being sturdy and seamless under clothing. I asked for them to add the cute « C » charm they offer for other bras, and I adore it! Its also convenient my first initial is a C as well… https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />

However I do feel as if the 60 band is too large on me, I have a 26 inch snug underbust and thought due to a lack of squish a 28/60 would be fine but I have come to regret it. The band is ... extremely stretchy due to the very soft wires (especially compared to other Polish and UK bras). I understand the comfort aspect of this, but the next time, I would probably request much stronger wires and size down in both the cup and the band. The cup is *slightly* too wide on me, but the projection is good, so I feel as if it would be perfect in a 55L. (perhaps with even narrower wires, such as the ones used for a 55K?) Even though with the black colour, which does make this 60L a bit snugger than my other bras of lighter colours, it is still not snug enough to provide the support I like. I have learned that a 60 band in Ewa Michalak is perfect, but a 60 band in Comexim is too large. so, if you are debating on buying something from either company, I hope this helps in terms of picking a size.

    Fits

I got this one to use as an everyday, practical, workhorse bra. I hoped the modifications would make it perfect, and the fit is pretty good, but not perfect. Cups are still wider than I need and the straps are still widely placed and in my armpits a little. The overall cup size is good but there still isn't quite enough projection above the wire so the wires sit about 3/4 inch below my IMF. Compared to my Yellow Bird which I ordered in the same size with the same modifications, it fits similarly but the cups seem a smidge shorter (which is a good thing) and the band is tighter. I can barely get it to stretch to 25". The overall comfort is pretty good except for it eating my armpits and pushing into my ribs as it rides down. Overall, this bra looks good and gives me that 'locked and loaded' feeling that I like.

    • It still looks pretty good though. Maybe a different set of alterations to include more depth at the bottom would fit better.

    • Thanks! I might try asking for more depth at the wire next time. I wonder if I'd still have to size up with that or if I could get away with a K??

    • The cup height looks good on this one. Did you ask for the straps to be moved in? Looks good on you. Can't believe the band only stretches to 25" though...that's not even a 55 band! I just ordered another 60J 3HC from Comexim... the band better stretch to at least 27" otherwise I'll have to start ordering 65" bands again.

    • Yes, I asked the straps to be moved in for all 3 of them. I'm not sure any of them were, though. They are all in my arm pits. I also don't think cup height was reduced on the Yellow Bird, but I think it was on this one. Most of the new 60 bands I get from Comexim seem to average about 26". I have had one or two that were 28" and a couple of 25". Which new 3HC did you order?

    • I ordered an older one that I've always had my eye on. I got the Diane in a 3HC (not a longline) and matching thongs in medium. I hope I like it in person (sometimes pictures can be deceptive). I didn't want the straps on the Aida, and I wanted another padded half cup. I almost ordered the matthiola instead, but changed my mind at the very last minute. I hope the band stretches enough...

Diane is lovely. You will have so many gorgeous prints! I do love a beautiful bra. :)

    • I keep looking at Matthiola. There’s so many great prints.

    • Yeah I've almost ordered it twice now... don't know why I keep on hesitating!

I know why I have. It looks a lot like the Belen with the piping on top and I’m not sure about that part of the fit. I’m worried about it showing through. Maybe if it’s got the same mauve lace my Triss has. Or maybe I just need the right size and alterations. The other issue is that I simply don’t wear a lot of light colours. But it’s a stupid reason. I do sometimes get worried about a darker colour rubbing off or bleeding onto the light colour. Again, kinda paranoid and not the best reason. The last reason is that I like other ones better. But it doesn’t mean that I dislike it. I still do, but I have to prioritize all my likes. You know?

    Didn't fit

As a 28HH/J (UK), I need to order bras with narrow wires and in a plunge style (close-set in shape) so ordered the Basic in a 60L, a size which was recommended to me. Unfortunately, the bra is too small for me. This could be a size issue, though I have heard from some others with the Basic that the cup runs slightly smaller than their other bras. I think I need a cup or two up in this bra, with quadboobing at the gore area and painful wire marks on breast tissue.

My breasts seemed to put outwards as well, though this may be the size and not necessarily shape. I was also disappointed that in the large cup sizes the bra style is not as pretty as the photo suggests.

Good = Does have narrow wires; would make a good day-to-day bra
Bad = Straps too wide, which I've found common in most bras in my size

Excellent bra, however it gives me an "orange in glass", slight quad boob on the top & not quite wide enough on side. Might need to order a cup size up, but is still fairly comfortable because the straps shorten nicely & cup doesn't come up too
high under arms and poke. Will keep it as I am losing weight & most likely it will work later. It is new so don't know how it stretches out yet.
Update: even though I have lost some weight, the cups are way too small!!!
