A bralette that fits a 32G UK! Sort of!

I needed a bralette that would be partially visible under a certain shirt. This was the perfect look, but to get enough cup coverage, I had to sister-size up to a 38 band and wear it on the tightest hooks. (The 36 was wearable but showed a little more skin than I wanted. I think the cup-to-band ratio is close to a DDD/E.) I also have to engage the J-hook to feel entirely secure, but it would probably be fine without it.

So, yes, this is 2-3 sister sizes off and about a cup size smaller than I'd like...but it's ... also a bralette that is pretty and supportive and comfortable in my range! I'm calling it a win.

EDIT: After wearing this a few times, I definitely get quadboob as the day progresses, and if I don't wear the J-hook, it's spill city. I still like it, but I hesitate to recommend it to anyone above a 32F UK, and a 34DD/E would probably be safer. However, if you're an FF/G and feeling lucky, give it a whirl.

    • I tried the 32. Should have done what you did. Glad it works for you :-) :-)

Luckily, I was in Nordstrom, so I could try on whatever I needed. I forget which sizes I actually tried on, but yeah, that brick and mortar advantage!

This bralette is good for short-waisted/high-set bodies. The wings are low and don't bite my lymph nodes: for this, I'm intensely grateful. It seems a tall underwired literally bruised my milk ducts recently. This is unpleasant. Harrah for short wings. However, the straps are fully adjustable, and I have them adjusted to 75% as short as can be adjusted. So, low-set/tall bodies may appreciate these features. If you need, tall wings to hold your tissue, this bralette will be a source of frustration and/or a complete disappointment. Sigh.

Compared to Halo, this bra is not as soft. New, the lace is a bit scratchy. Knowing what I do about ... mass produced lingerie, I anticipate it will soften after a few washes. For comfort, I prefer Halo. However, for support, this microfiber-wrapped band provides significantly more support than Halo's stretch lace band. Halo, somehow, provides slightly better support for center fullness. However, neither of these bras are good choices for center-full breasts. We all will reverse swoop and scoop to fit; viable, but not ideal.

The profile is natural and rounded. And, the texture is acceptable to me under a thin dark knit. Again, there is no nipple armor to protect me from branches and thorns in the garden. But, I desperately need COOL wireless options for our blistering summer heat.
