This model has been my go to bra for the past 6 years. Unless I'm already in pain and especially sensitive to the straps digging in, it's a very comfortable bra. And I love the thick padded straps. But seeing a photograph of myself wearing this bra under clothes recently made me realize how unflattering it is on me and how bad it is for my shape. It just flattens me and pushes my breast tissue down and out to the sides. I get the east-west problem. There is no gaping, and the fabric on top doesn't wrinkle. It just looks odd and flat.
There is also extra ...space in the side fabric, but the G cup I have tried in this model is too small.
This bra runs a bit snug in the band. It does stretch quite a bit, but this is an older bra that I've had for a very long time. At least now it's too large for me in the band. In the cups, it runs at least 2-3 cup sizes larger than most US H cups and UK FF cups I have tried.
It is also cut extremely high, and I can't wear it with most of my shirts. It comes nearly up to my neck.
This bra is part of the reason I've been reluctant to purchase soft bras. I imagine that everything wrong with this bra on me would be exacerbated in a bra with no underwire. I still haven't found anything that fits very well, though, so I will need to continue using it every now and then until I do. Read more 163 more words
I love Wacoal first of all. I haven't gotten a bra made by them yet that didn't fit comfortably.
This is the red and black Breast Cancer Awareness bra (I bought it for a good reason, my late aunt had breast cancer along with another close friend - both passed away). The inner lining is red satiny fabric, so it's smooth on the inside. The outer fabric is a floral patterned lace, with the black and red cheetah print on it.
It fits me good (the only thing that would make it better was if the gore sat completely flat against my sternum - it comes really close, but not quite). It's comfortable. It has wide, semi-padded straps. And it's pretty and for a good cause.
This is a full coverage bra that provides a rounded shape. I'm finding the center gore too high for comfort, and the all over coverage with thick straps doesn't lend itself to tanks or low cut shirts. Smooth cup disappears under thin shirts.
This bra is soooooo close to fitting perfectly! The only thing I would ask for is for the gore to sit directly on my sternum. As it is right now, the bottom of the gore lays flat, but the top is maybe one finger width away from tacking. The band is nice and tight - as opposed to 75G - Chantelle » Rive Gauche 3 Part Cup (3281) , which I think could be a tad tighter.
Feel extremely supported and "fastened in" in this bra, if you will. Great t-shirt bra, but the straps are too wide and the coverage is too high for anything low cut or even a tank top.
I love the round boob shape this bra gives me. The center gore is cut up in the bottom and there is no outer rim of trim to curl up, which seems to happen with my short torso with other styles and brands. The cups are smooth, which makes it perfect under tees and thin knits. While the straps are very thick and comfortable, they do limit my ability to wear tanks. This is definitely my go-to daily bra.
The tag on this bra states the US/UK size are the same, however I am pretty sure this particular model is going by UK sizing. The underwire can be uncomfortable, and this bra has wide underwires. I like this bra because it is a cute leopard print, its seamless, and because it fits. The downside is I have wideset breasts and I prefer narrow cups, so although this bra fits, it is not my ideal style of bra. This bra does have a wide strap at the top of the shoulder which can be a pro/con.
