I feel like this would be an okay everyday bra if I had bought it in my actual cup size (true size 28DD, this is a 30B). When I do the scoop and swoop there is major quadboob spillage, and the occasional nipple peak. Without scoop and swoop you can kind of see my areolas. It is a demi cut though. Seems like it's built more for shallow breasts, which is probably another reason that the fit was off. Cups do come up nice and high on the sides, which is good. The wires slipped upward on my chest throughout the day and sat more on the breast than under it, but I am also very projected and FoB. The straps were good. Band was good. Maybe a little to wide of a gore for my fit too. Really I think it would fit better as long as you get it in the correct size, and not several cups too small like I did.
hello! I'm labraletta and this is my review for the wear everywhere lightly lined bra and will be my first. I wanna say the bra is a very pretty color, very pleasing to the eye. The fabric is cool, airy and thin in the band and the cups are nicely thin as well with foam padding and the same fabric on top as the band, and it already has a round moulded shape to it which is nice for a slim fit T-shirt.
now for the things i don't really like as far as comfort goes. Firstly when i got fitted Victoria's Secret she measure above ...my breast and over my shirt.. i was new to this but still knew that was wrong hehe. she measure a 32C/D at first and both were way too small, then a 32DD and that was the biggest they had at the moment in stock and i took it, the fit was a little better last year but i am still growing (im 17 also i'm so sorry this is a little long). but as a year passed i grew a bit more so i spill out of the top a bit and you can now see when i wear a simple T-shirt. The band is way too big, it rides up in the back and is not level to the front. the straps dig in a bit because they are taking all the support which is what the band should do? am i right? i am sorry i am new to this bra world hehe.. also the center gore pulls away from my sternum. I also have a problem with the wires cutting into the sides of my breasts. i think that is about it i will update if i can if i miss something Read more 202 more words
Very stretchy band, so although the band is short it's not all that supportive for a 28 bander like me. Soft smooth fabric. Very short wires and tiny gore. All in all this bra offers me very minimal support and is useless to me which I did anticipate.
Overall this bra worked very well for me; most Victoria's Secret bras cater to shallow, wide rooted breasts such as mine. Unfortunately I have already grown out of this bra due to tissue migration so I am experiencing some quadboob (it doesn't show in the picture because I forgot to swoop and scoop before taking it.) I also already have the straps set to the third set of hooks even though I've only had the bra for two months, so the band may run a little big on some. I would recommend this bra as an excellent, every-day T-shirt bra. It has never failed me on any occasion, and I will probably buy the exact same bra again in a larger size.
I own a million of these bras. I was sized as being a 32C at Victoria's Secret, and have been we earring that size ever since. However it is not, and provably never was the right size. Brand new the gore doesn't touch my skin, and doesn't really come close. After swooping and scooping, there's major quad-boob. It looks like an extreme push-up, even though it's lightly lined. I will wait for the day when VS carries bras in 30DD
I was really surprised at how well this bra fit me. I really needed a simple, plain white bra with smooth cups, like a t-shirt bra. This bra is perfect!! It's exactly what I was looking for.
I normally wear a 32DDD from VS but couldn't find anything that resembled a t-shirt bra in a DDD. I did see the Showstopper and one Semi Demi Uplift but they weren't in white. I saw tons of white bras in a 32DD, but I have too many VS bras in a 32DD and none of them fit. They all give me major quad boob. So I had read another girl's ...review of VS's "Pink" line and how those bras tend to run on the smaller side. She also said she normally wears a 32DDD but can get away with a 34DD in the Pink collection. So I decided to give it a try. I was certainly skeptical, considering I'm a true 28 band! I figured, if anything, I could always take in the band as long as the cups fit. It's really not too bad at all. It's def looser than what I'm used to but it's much better than what I feared it would be. It's nice for those days when you just want a looser fit, or PMSing like I am right now (that might be why it's not as loose as I was expecting, def bloated at the moment and swollen). I'll have to update after trying it on about a week or two from now. Lol. But the band has a lot of stretch to it. So, if you are a true 34 band, it might be a bit tight at first but it's quite stretchy.
Oddly enough, the cups on this seem to fit me better than they do on the 32DDD, which really shocked me. Almost a perfect fit! Even tho the wires are a bit wider than I'm used to (I usually do well with a cup width of about 5.5" and this measured at 6.0"), I feel like they were a tad too narrow, or maybe the gore is just a hair too wide. But I have really close set boobs, so I usually have this problem with gores, where I feel like the wires are almost sitting on top of the inner part of my boobs. There is a 1.0" separation between the cups, and I usually need the wires to be touching or to have an extreme plunge style so that the gore doesn't bother me. But it's not really bothersome, I just wonder if I would maybe do better with a slightly larger cup. Surprisingly, the wires didn't wrap around my back on this. They came right under my arm, just where I like them And, for once, I had NO quad boob! Yay! Which is exactly why I wanted a simple t-shirt bra and not a push up. The cups are more than just "lightly" lined. They're padded just enough in just the right places - thin and lightly padded at the top then it gradually thickens as you move down to the bottom of the cup. But it's not as much padding as the Very Sexy or Dream Angels push ups. Just enough to give a bit of lift, not so much with cleavage. And the straps seem to be placed just right for me and my narrow frame. Most bras I find the straps placed too far apart but this is perfect. And I think the placement of the straps on the back of the band help in how well this bra really fits.
I'm really liking this bra, and as always with VS, I LOVE the shape it gives me under clothes! This bra is SUPER comfy and soft, and it was def worth the $20! I may try taking the band in a bit but I can def get away with it as is. Read more 556 more words
When it was new I loved this bra: it's simple and smooth, the fit is good, and it didn't show under snug-fitting clothing. After a year, I stopped loving it. The fit is still good, but the top edge of the cups has flared outward, so there's a visible line through my t-shirt. I can still wear this bra under bulky layers in the winter if nothing else is clean, but not in the summer at all.
