This is a really lovely bra! I absolutely adore all the details that Tutti Rouge put into their bras and so I had to try this one. Unfortunately, the gore on this bra is simply too tall for me. Even after altering the gore's height and width, it is uncomfortable for my touching roots. It would suit someone who has a little bit of space between their breasts better.
Cups are fairly shallow, but not the most shallow ever. They are super silky and lovely.

Too big in the band, which rode up on my back. The wires were comfortable and accommodated my rather wide breasts well, however I’m less full (read deflated) on top and just couldn’t fill it. There was significant gaping which I can live with in a stretch lace, but the Betty just doesn’t work for me sadly.

This review is for the red floral version.. this bra's measurements vary among the many different colourways.

Me: tall roots, very close-set (touching), average to narrow width, shallow, splayed east-west, even but functionally FOT, centre-full horizontally, size asymmetry.

Probably my best-fitting bra so far. The band runs short. (At least in this red colourway, because I have a cream-colourway 28E and the band is TTS.)

The wires are pretty wide, definitely too wide on my smaller breast, but shallow enough in the outer cup that it's not much of a problem. The cups are shallow, have two vertical seams, allow for moderate immediate projection, open on top, and softly moulded. Because ... they are so shallow I have to size up, I'm normally 28e. I could probably even size up again, but the wide cup width would probably start to become a problem at that point.The cups are a little short for preference and for my tall roots but i imagine they're fine for 'regular' height roots. The red silky fabric extends onto half of the straps and it is very pretty so I don't mind if the straps show next to a black or red tank top. Overall I would definitely recommend this bra for those with wide shallow breasts who need a tighter band. If you're a true 28 snug or greater, maybe size up to the 30!

My one complaint is the top edge/seam of the cup bends upwards slightly, enough to show under shirts. I also wish the cups were taller, but I wish that about every bra.

Unfortunately, the cups of this bra are too separate for me, as there is a large portion of cup under my arms that I can't fill. This bra is very stiff and is uncomfortable by the end of the day. Also, the cups are too shallow for me as I am almost spilling out on my left side.

I love this bra and wanted it in red since it was released, but could never find it in my size. I already have the ivory one in a 30 F, but it is a bit too small in the cup.
The cups on this bra for, but the band is quite tight. I'll have to wear it with an extender for a while.

I've been obsessed with this bra since I first saw photos of it, like 6 months before it was available to buy. Unfortunately they sold out almost immediately of my regular size (32F) and I couldn't find it anywhere else. I was pretty sad about it, but then decided that since my left boob is larger than my right, that a 32FF would probably fit it alright and I could deal with the looseness on my right side. Although the cups are a slight bit too large, I really don't care. I love the way this looks. It's even cuter in person than in the photos. The lace trim is actually a dark pink, not red as I initially thought, and it's adorable. It's probably my favorite thing that Tutti Rouge has put out so far.

November 2015 Update: Band is definitely several inches too long, cups are too shallow and cause quadboob, and yet wires are now too... wide?? Have my breasts become more narrow/projected?? Or has this always been too wide and I didn't know? Hmmmm...


Original Review: Wow. This is the second best fit of any bra I've ever tried on. (The best was a Freya longline bra in 28E that I tried on in a lingerie store. Sadly, the gore dug horribly into my sternum after about 5 seconds so I didn't think the $90 was worth it!) I had to bend around the wires, because they had a weird kink ... in them at the center front, but now they follow my root perfectly! (There was orange-in-a-glass before bending.) Despite how low they are in my underarm, the cups are perfectly shapes for my breasts and don't allow them to slip out the sides. The only problem I have is the band length. According to this site, the 28E would be way too tight, so I ordered a 30DD. I probably could have ordered the 28E and just used an extender. But the straps adjust perfectly, and the bra is super cute! I might have a tiny bit of quad on my left breast, but it's not noticeable. This bra doesn't give much projection under clothing, but it fits my breasts perfectly, shape and size. I have plenty of bras that give me more projection but don't fit properly by the end of the day, so I'm happy!! And despite how high the gore is, it magically doesn't dig in at all!! Betty abounds with feminine and flirty details - the lacy frill along the bottom of the band and top of the cup, the creamy silk with poppies in pink and pale blue (the fabric extends up the straps for a charming peek-a-boo), the 3 gathering gores at the base, and of course the signature heart-shaped strap adjusters. Tutti Rouge quality is fully expressed in this bra. The padding is thin enough to flex but enough to hide those nips, the lining is oh-so-soft cotton, the gore narrow, the wings low and she is luxuriously comfortable. She has a very retro, pin-up look that on the right person would ... be devastating! Unfortunately, that person is not me. The band is verrrry stretchy (tightest hook for me) and the wires are just too wide, flattening my close-set girls and pushing them outwards. The shape seems to be a hybrid half cup/balcony, both of which usually work for me but Betty is also shallow and I am projected so I quadboob - it's just a complete shape mis-match. I think Betty would be adorable for someone with wide and shallow roots, possibly low set. I also think this 32 would fit a 34. I am sad because Betty is such a sweetheart!
