I bought this Satami used off EBay for science. Plus I was just curious - something different! There is no model # and I can't find a similar bra on their website. But maybe this review will help people anyway. The bra is really well-made and very pretty. The blue-on-blue stretch lace is lovely, the midnight blue fabric covering the cups is smooth and stretchy; it is not bonded to the foam. The straps are narrow and quite stretchy, but they do adjust all the way. Ther is a nice detail of lace coming up along the sides of the cup to the strap. The blue stretch lace ... overlays a dark gray powermesh along the sides and back band. Just next to the cups the lace overlays a sheer blue net, then come the two tall (11 cm) but soft & flexible side bonings, then the dark gray powermesh. The bra is soft and comfortable against the skin. The band in the back is very, very high: 14cm as it goes around and 20cm as it rises up to the strap. This is supposed to contain 'back fat'. It does. I feel encased, but not in a bad way. This is NOT a longline; the band is in its normal place around the base of the breast, it just goes up higher under the arms, around the sides and most noticeably up in the back. Interestingly it does not poke me under the arms and I am very sensitive in that area. The wire channel is a full 5cm (2") longer than the wire, so that could be why - I moved the wire to the gore. The gore is neither low nor high. On me it floats but that's because there is not enough room at the bottom of the wire for me. The cup width and wires are narrow; the wires themselves are pretty soft and flexible. The bra closes with 4 metal hooks in 3 rows. Although this is labelled a 38, its more like a 36 back. Its pretty darn stretchy, though, not a firm band at all although this could be because it is well-loved https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> The cups are lined in soft gray cotton with cookie pockets and 2-part construction. They are relatively shallow, so I think this is a push-up bra, or maybe all Satamis are shallow. When I swoop & scoop, I get some bubbling in the center, but the cups are tall on the outer part so reverse s&s holds my breasts nicely in place for a little while, but then they settle in and there is a gap at the top & side while the girls work at escaping from the bottom since the band is too big (and its not really a good fit for my narrow, close set, soft, FOB & projected girls). The bra gives a smooth appearance under knits from the front and back. I like it enough that I'm going to be hunting a Satami in a better size for me. Their website has instructions for correct sizing, but from this one bra experiment I'd say go up at least a band or 2 and up a cup or 2 also!

    • They have impressed me, too. I can't imagine wearing this in summer, but it would be grand in winter.

I too believe in science. Bra experiments are my fave.
