    Didn't fit

This bra has so many good points: it's stunning to look at, fits me really well and is incredibly comfy (I recently wore it for 20 hours which included coach journeys, SERIOUS shopping and standing up and dancing for 6 hours at a gig). However my only complaint is that it gives me points: teenytiny minimised super east west points to be exact!

Unfortunately after wearing it under bulky jumpers for a few times, I wore it for the first time under a tighter fitting top and felt rather self concious of my chest shape - could be great if you want to seriously minimise your bosom and ... don't mind the Madonna cone bra look, but it just gives me such an odd shape that this will definitely only be worn under looser fit items in the future! I was shocked on sitting down as my boobs were basically in my arm pits, yet very conical/pointy and just so strange looking I couldn't stop checking them out https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_confused.gif" alt=":-S" />.

My boyf bought this set for me for Christmas after I'd be lusting after it for ages - I have two sets of Parfait's Carole which are a dream to wear and this seemed to have a similar cut and aesthetic, making me think it would be just as good a fit and investment. Whilst it fits fairly similarly in band size / stretchiness, strap width, wire width etc which is all great for me I would say there are some fit differences which may make this bra a real deal breaker for some. This bra will not be compatible with anyone who has any upper fullness. It quad boobs slightly on my left larger breast which Carole doesn't at all. Although both bras have a stretchy lace cup with an outer trim, the trim and lace on Marianne is far less forgiving - perhaps because on Marianne there is more fine mesh used in the top half of the cups than in Carole? It also isn't suitable for anyone with any centre/inner breast fullness as this is where I get the worst of the quadding and I wouldn't describe myself as particularly full centred. It's almost shockingly shallow on the inner breast but doesn't have the stretchiness in the cup to accommodate tissue either. I've never come across a bra that fits in this way.

But for me the problem is not overly noticeable as I'm full on the bottom/even, I just wonder how anyone with more upper fullness would ever get a good fit in this bra.

    Hasn't set fit

    Fits ribcage 27
    B. perimeter 11.5
    Stretched Band 34.5
    Band Length 26.0
    Stretch ratio 1.3
    Cup width 6.0
Cup depth 10 at rest, stretches to 12! So many sizes in one bra!
    Depth ratio 1.7
    Wire length 12.0
    Cup height 7.0
    Cup separation 0.9
    Gore height 3.7
    Wing height 4.2
    Strap width 0.6
Strap length 15 (at front seam)
    Hooks 2

Cup is a 2 piece build with a single vertical seam up the center- this design favors outer fullness as the inner panel carries only about 40% of the overall depth. Gore is about the same height as the wing, and wider and taller than I personally prefer having been spoilt with polish patterning, but am getting enough space ... in the lower inner where it's been 99% of the time too tight in the lower center cup.
Not seeing any east west separation, but it's possible more side-set projected people may find this style not supportive enough to compensate for spread, as Marianna has a whole lot of width due to the super wide short wires.
Fabric is 84% polymide, 16% elastane! That means a lot of spacious forgiveness in Marianna, but it's not a 'one size fits all' situation. So at first handling this bra feels extremely soft and lightweight, with a fine nonstretch duoplex lining, which has some mechanical give which is most evident about 1/3 the way up from the bottom. The outer lace only covers 5.5" cup height before terminating into a very fine dotted mesh which also has a super soft finish to it; upper cup is 5" long on the inner portion & another 4" long from the deeply curved armscye to wing.
This proportion gives a really low neckline which could be fidgety depending on how short or high ones roots run, and how fast one fluctuates where one is fullest. My full on top teen declared this style to cut in during 1st day of high tide, and I found it felt like it was being pulled down strongly during mine. Otherwise evenly full folks may have it harder and need to opt for a size up.

The strap to armpit zone is *chefs kiss*, wow and finally, something I'll not need to carefully scoop out some space for super high set + short/FOB shape. Still must take in the buttery soft band (boo hiss oh well).

Marianna bucks a lot of style trends in that it appears to accommodate a variety of shapes and sizes, with the caveat that the very full on bottom will need to gauge their underwire tolerances well as this style is going to run on the tight/shallow/short end of fit due to fabric being stretched and pulled to accommodate lower fullness.

My only gripe with this style is that the upper cup is lined in a tight elastic which cuts into my tall roots and spoils the otherwise 'braless' feel.

    Didn't fit

I normally wear 30Es. The band seems true to size (nice and tight), but the cups seem to run a size too small.
This bra makes me quad-boob, has cups that are too small, too wide, too separated and the underwires are also a bit uncomfortable on my ribs. Specifically, the center gore comes up rather high.
If this bra did happen to fit you, the cups are unlined and specifically cone-shaped/pointy. Madonna is not my favorite look. The gore runs extremely high, so you better gave good separation between your ladies all the way up. At least the cups aren't itchy or anything.
