This bra is so comfortable. I got it for a great price and never would have bought it otherwise. It is so comfortable and kind of cute. Its basic black and comfortable with a little lace up on the strap edges, and between and on top of the cups that is between 0.5 and 0.75inches wide. The lace is not itchy. The bra has a lot of stretch, I laid it out and it measured only about 22 or 23 inches but easily stretched close to 30. I wear a 28 or 30 band so overtime this may loosen up I think. This bra is wireless which ... is comfortable for me. My breasts are different sizes with different roots it's nice and comfortable to not have to struggle and agonize over painful wires/gores. I can scoop and swoop a little cleavage into this bra if I want too. It may not be super flattering under clothing (there is a seam in the middle of the soft cups) but it's mostly a bra I would wear at home anyways. The material is soft and at this time supports okay, not enough for extreme exercise though. The band has multiple sets of hooks with 4 hooks per row! (3 rows of 4) which I prefer rather than bras that have. Front close or only 2 hooks per tow. The straps do adjust enough. The cups may be a smidgen wide but hard to notice in the soft cups. This is not a bra I would be too picky about, and I normally would have passed it on the shelf but I am really glad I got it with a few others! I wish it was a 28 band because I have a feeling this soft flexible stretchy material will lose support over time, I may get another similar bra to alternate for wearing at night or around the house. Usually bralettes are either too small and tight or the band is too loose as I size up for a big enough cup (when I buy in small, medium, large, xl) I am happy this 30F bralette fits. It's cute enough that I would wear around my partner. Happy with this find!

I love the modal fabric this bra is made of, it's so soft and stretchy and comfy. The band is short but stretchy. The cups run small but are somewhat stretchy as well. This bra is pretty supportive for a bralette. The wings have boning, and the straps have a J hook, so this bra can be made into a racerback. The seams inside the cup are fairly thick so they can show through tight shirts. The shape it gives me is gently rounded with no noticeably uniboob look.
This is no longer my size and even when it was my size it was a little small in the cups. But it's a great bralette, so I'm going to rebuy it in my new size plus a cup size up I think.

  3. I was looking for a very comfy bralette to wear at home. 32FF - Parfait By Affinitas » Dalis (P5641) bralette fulfilled my expectations completely! I have this in navy and pink colors. The navy bralette is already worn out from use. I tried Dalis bralette in smaller cup sizes first, and they were too small. The cup size runs small on this bralette, while the band is normal and comfortably snug. Usually I wear size 32F (or sometimes 30F or 30FF), but I needed Dalis in size 32FF.

Usually I have problems with bras being too small on the sides while I can't fill the ... top of the cups. This is because of my wide roots and full on bottom boobs. Dalis bralette is the opposite, however. Even in the smaller sizes, there was enough room in the sides, but the front of the bralette was too tight. I highly recommend this bralette for shallow breasts and wide roots. You should still probably go up one cup size.

There are no underwires, so it probably makes this bralette easier to fit. The fabric is very stretchy too, so it accommodates to breasts well. Dalis bralette is perfect to wear at home and even to sleep in if needed. It's the most comfortable bralette I've ever tried! It's so soft and cozy. It still does support well if you're not very active. The four hooks and wide wings make it even more comfortable.

The appearance is pretty, not extraordinary, but this bralette does come in different colors which is good. The new pink color is very nice.

I guess the only negative thing to say about this bralette is, that you need to size up in cup size. And the fabric does stretch out in use, but that's what happens to all bras in time. I guess there is even more strain on the fabric since there are no underwires. The fabric is comfortable and stretchy, but on the downside it does stretch out if you wear this bralette a lot. But as we know, no bra lasts forever.

Bought this for picky teenager. It's a petite-framed, fuller coverage bralette made from 2 layers of super soft, medium weight fine knit cotton. The straps are 15" long but these are in 2 parts, the first half on the front is 7" long and has soft lace trim sewn onto it, in the back is a .65" wide lingerie satin strap with a j-hook so the bralette can convert to racerback. Sneaaaky, I didn't know that it could do this.Very nice surprise as it's a hard to find feature in a bra.

All the seams are expertly bound with the same quality of elastic sandwiched ... inside, with double row of zigzag stitching pressing them neatly down. The underband is some kind of 1" wide elastic encased completely by the facing cotton knit. Both the top and bottom of the cotton casing are stitched securely to prevent the band from rubbing or the elastic from wearing through it. I'm impressed by all the thoughtful touches that went into designing this wireless bra!

No bubbling, rippling or weird unevenness when the bralette is at rest, or being stretched anywhere. Dalis doesn't bind in, wow. Somebody got heard or paid to figure this one out. Yeah, we're still kinda salty about the lack of consistency of elastic ease among the textile choices of curvy kate, freya, and panache/cleo styles.

The cup has a central vertical dart which is stitched to the inner layer with a miniscule 1/16" straight seamline, that has some stretch to avoid inducing in-cup quadding. This lower cup dart seam is 4" long, so if one has a shorter than average bottom cup depth (length from inframammary fold to nips) the cup might have pointiness above the fullest part of a breast. I did get the cup dart seam to stretch to just under 5" so Dalis should be ok for moderately projected, evenly full shapes.
The gore and wing height are pretty good coverage, however some of this is the lace trimming. It's a forgiving edging to smooth things out but not a really supportive material in itself. I find this gives me a more subtle 'side muffin' silhouette since my boobs grow fullest from the underarm and side area so usually tend to squish out of a bra there. YMMV I wouldn't classify it spanx levels of control, but the streamling it does is, is not nothing either.

I'm thinking hard about things to kvetch about here. I think that the pattern could have a little more gathering from where the bottom of the cup darts begin to give the lower inner cup more space, and lower inner breast somewhere to be. Since it's easy to get squished in a bralette, especially one that's cut a little taller like this one.

Honestly we're both impressed, and really hope that more colourways and prints come out in Dalis.

I bought a 30F thinking that it would be stretchy enough to fit me as a 30FF/28G. I was wrong, lol. But, since it is a bralette, the perfect fit isn't as important to me so I kept it.
The band is very stretchy - I wish it came in a 28 band since if I clasp it on the last set of hooks if I don't want any riding up.

tannerk I've been looking at this bralette for my daughter because she's liked some other Parfait nonwired designs... just wondering if I understood correctly, are you saying it's the CUP fabric that isn't very stretchy? (As opposed to the band which is very stretchy per your observation) Does the cup lack horizontal stretch or is it equally unstretchy both horizontally and vertically? Thanks in advance for any info you can share :)

    • 1

Hi! So, I think the cups are somewhat stretchy, but I wouldn’t order a cup size down like I did lol. It seems to run pretty true to size with pretty even vertical and horizontal stretch.

It’s very soft, too! I’m sure your daughter will like it if she’s partial to the other Parfait non-wires styles.

ok thanks! Yeah I definitely would not risk sizing down, she is picky about side coverage. I am on the fence about this one, she tends to prefer the firm support of nonstretch or low-stretch cups... vertical stretch is the main problem obviously, in her size range (3oH-HH) it doesn't feel as secure as most people like!

For a bralette at this size I don't have high expectations. It does help to give a little bit of support on days at home. I don't like the look of the seam line coming right up the middle. Band size and cups are fine, contain everything and is not too tight. I don't like the boning towards the back, I think it's uncomfortable but it is probably necessary for added support.

  7. This bra is surprisingly supportive, but it does fit differently than the same bra in black. When I measured it they actually appear to have different measurements, so that’s interesting.

This wireless bra has boning on the sides to stop it from rolling or flipping up. Like many of Parfait’s wireless bras, this one runs a size small. I currently wear a 32FF in Parfait’s underwire bras and sizing all the way up to a 34FF was perfect. The 34 band stretches to just under 32 inches, and the cup size runs small as well. In this larger size it is comfortably supportive, for a true lounge bra with less support I would probably recommend sizing up again to a 36 if your band size is normally 32. Overall this was a super comfortable bra and I intend to buy more in other colors.

The lace on this was just ridiculous. I cut most of it off and now it’s much more comfortable. I think I needed maybe a cup or two bigger though, I find myself a bit squished and spilling out of the top because of it.

I have two of these in beige, and probably will keep another in navy blue. This brown one has a band that is much longer than the beige one when stretched. I would have to wear it on the last hook. Also, the elastic sounds creaky. I wonder if this bra just got a bad band, or if they tried to make up for darker fabric usually having less stretch. In any case, I highly recommend this bra...but possibly beware of the brown ones!
