Even getting this bra at a deep discount (more than 40% off regular retail of $38 USD) was not enough to persuade me to keep it. This is my second bra from Felina (this brand's parent company) and I'm about ready to give up them for good. I have one more coming from kohls.com, a Paramour Sophia vertical seam half cup. The cut looks similar to the Felina Lana I tried which did look pretty amazing on, so maybe Sophia will be a keeper.

The band in this and in the Felina Lana I tried felt a bit tight in a 36 on ... my 33.5" ribcage. If I needed a larger cup size I'd consider getting a 38 as this only goes up to a US G (DDDD or UK F) but cup volume was not the issue for me. It's so useful to post and review pictures here on bratabase because I can often see fit issues that I can't feel when the bra is on or see looking in the mirror. In the case of this Captivate Lace it turned out to be the apex projection of the cups; basically there is none. My boobs look squared off, lol!

This bra is undeniably pretty, especially (imho) in the black/blush combination I purchased. The sheer lace is lovely and and is matched on the tops of the cups, though not on the bottoms. I like the combination of floral lace on the front with the sheer pointelle pattern on the back. There is even lace on the straps. But then there are so many places where they cheaped out on quality. The lace on the top of the cups has no stretch and is not fitted well to the bottoms. I have wrinkles in the top of the cups and in-cup quadding at the horizontal seam. They could have used clear elastic at top edge of the cups to help fit the lace better, but instead they used a thin plastic(?) strip to stabilize the lace. It looks and feels cheap. The band is powermesh which is also not the most comfortable thing, and this bra has side stays which did not bother me while I wore it but I can see in my side view picture the stays are cutting in so after a day's wear they would probably hurt.

Felina/Paramour has some really great looking styles. I just wish they would concentrate more on fit and quality.

Oh Sofia, why you break my heart?

Seriously, look at these pictures. Ridiculous, aren't they? I ordered this in the same size as the 36G - Paramour ยป Captivate Lace (115005) that was a hair too small in the cups. So why Sofia, why are your cups so big and at the same time so shallow? And you such a beauty, it broke my heart to take you back to Kohls.

It's like the wires are too round on the bottom and they really dig into me, even at rest. Any moving or bending I do makes the wires slide down my ribcage even though the band fits fine. It's as if the wires aren't bending to fit the curve of my ribcage.

I found this black and white polka dot confection at Nordstrom Rack. It is labeled Felina, not Paramour, but the model number 115702 is the same for both. I did not want to like this bra, but it successfully suspends my very lazy FOBs forward and outward. Sadly, it is often one cup size too small for me. A slightly taller and roomier cup would help control the jigglypuff and I would be able to wear it more often.

This is a 34:7 bra and I hover around 34:10 (34GG UK). I don't try 36 bands often enough because the straps seem so far apart. ... (I'm 5'3"and short-waisted). Strap placement and cup width could both be narrower, but they're both close enough. There is some wrinkling at the wire toward the center. The lace cup top stretches out during wear, so it doesn't look as pretty at the end of the day, but really, who does? The straps are more comfortable and substantial than I've experienced with Felina previously. The boning under the arms has started to make it presence known - not painfully - but at first I didn't even know it was there.

My current best-fitting and most comfortable bras are a 34GG Panache Envy (wrinkles at wire and slides down in front) and a 34GG Fantasie Selina (Jacqueline?) featuring a loose cup top and slightly too-wide wires.
