    Hasn't set fit

I have no idea why I waited so long to try the Tango. Just last week, someone on facebook mentioned that Tango fit bigger than Jasmine for them. I'm on the verge of out growing my 32JJ Jasmine and even my 32JJ Floris is getting small. So I found this on clearance on Amazon, with prime shipping and free returns (have you used an amazon locker for returns yet? So sweet! I have a locker about a mile from my house!)

Yes. Yes this DOES fit bigger than the jasmine. It looks like a much better shape for my full-all-over omega boobs. ... I mean, there's some wrinkling, and some gapping at the top, but we big girls cant be so picky. If there's no quadding and good support and no pain, its a win!

Sorta tempted to buy the "Heather Ombre" which is a dusty purple, but I think I'll wait and see if my weight drops. After all, I have a 75K S rokoko coming from Ewa and I'm in negotiations to buy a (probably) never-worn 75K S Mojito, so I should be ok for a bit.

    • 1

Not my favorite color, but its fine lol

    • 2

Looks great on you and colour fits your skin! ive tried Tango twice and it looked like mountains on me :| it is definietly not designed for tall roots as mine!

    • 1

Yay for a bra that fits!

I have a Tango that I grew into. I overlapped the wire channels at the gore and that took care of the wrinkling at the top: http://bra.pe/IaPm/.

    • 2

I'm really looking forward ot wearing it a full day and see how comfy it is - i'll come back and comment at some point

    Didn't fit

This is my first time reviewing the Panache Tango on Bratabase, but I have tried it one other time before, though I don’t remember the size I remember it was too small in the band and cups.

This bra is just sad. Like literally, my boobs are growing, can you see it? They always say go big or go home, and, well, I definitely went big on this one. Too big in fact.

The actual bra itself is a nice sturdy construction, but that being said there’s no stretch to it. I’ve always seen this bra being touted as one for FOB folks, so I guess this is ... too FOB for me maybe, otherwise I’m not sure what the deal is here. The cups obviously are way too big, as seen by the gaping and wrinkles everywhere. I liked how full coverage it was, but that was about where it stopped. The wires are too long and pokey, and it’s just so…sad looking. The band was nice and snug.

I won’t blame Panache for this one, as I’m sure it fits great when it’s the right size and shape, but it’s obviously not for me.

PS- I hate the color, but I’m definitely a beige/nude/tan hater anyway so 🤷‍♀️

FOB/Projected. Pro: I love the color. So pretty and fun! Mesh leaf embroidery fabric also very cute. Cons: Everything else. Tops of the cups gaped on both cups, wrinkles on bottom near outer underwire, gore came up a bit too high, and all in all gave me an unflattering shape. Return to sender!

The tango balcony does run large, I have heard anyway. Apparently the plunge is true to size

  4. I purchased the Tango in a 32J in both Pale Jade (light green) and Tiger Lily (orange). To my surprise, the pale jade one seemed to fit perfectly, and the tiger lily was a little too big (wrinkling at the top of the cup). Currently, the tiger lily is a better fit for me. Since the pale jade was an older colorway, maybe the Tango has been redesigned recently? Back when I was a 32H, I owned the Tango in pale jade, blue/gold, wisteria, and forest, and all the colorways seems to fit me the same way back then. I'm hoping Panache brings back some of the old colors eventually, because orange is not exactly my color.

    Didn't fit

As with all the Panache bras I own in my current size (32J), I previously owned the Tango in a 32H, then outgrew it when I gained weight. The only color I was able to replace in a 32J was Pale Jade. I find it comfortable, and it's minimizing enough for me to be able to wear button down shirts. This particular bra seems to have the classic orange in a champagne glass problem on me. I also purchased this bra in the new color Tiger Lily, which fits me better.

An astonishingly bad fit. I ordered this from HerRoom, and I wouldn't say I had high hopes, but wow. The cup wrinkled, it wasn't projected enough, it wasn't narrow enough, it gave me bullet boobs, the gore cut in, the wires hurt, the fabric wasn't soft. Painful Panache is right! I'm glad that a lot of people like this bra, but it's not for me.

I can still remember how my breasts felt in this bra 11 years ago—split into three parts by those firm wires. Ouch.

It definitely requires a specific set of breast characteristics.

    • 1

Honestly I was one of those that "praised" the Tango in the past. But it was the first bra I was properly fitted in and the first that did give me proper support. It does well on large sizes for firm support. But it was never a comfort bra - the wires hurt so bad. I totally understand that you dislike it. I hope you can find a lof of better more comfortable bras.

    • This is one that keeps popping up in recommended bras to try, but I could never bring myself to wear a “bullet boob” bra lol. I’ve yet to try a comfortable Panache bra, other than the padded wire sport bra. Even then that one was like wearing an iron chest plate lol.

This bra seems to run large compared to other Panache styles. Wires are wider, cups bigger, band longer and stretchier. So large, in fact, that I double checked the tag to make sure it wasn't a 36 H or HH. The fabric is pretty but scratchy. The cups come up higher than I expect for a balconnet style.

The cups were entirely too much for my breasts - I was swimming in this bra and the band wasn't tight enough. I returned it.

    • Swimming? OH DEAR! :) Tango is also on my "to try" list, in a 38GG or 40G so kinda near this.

Yes, I think my 90 degree measurement has the calculation for cup size wrong (It gave me 42F). I've not yet found the right bra for me. I've had 42DDD (US) that are too big and 42DD that are too small - but nothing quite right. I think I'm going to attempt cacique next, despite some people saying they break quickly. dfe98we

    • You just have to find a style **and** size that fits. Some of my old 42DDD fit well enough to wear occasionally, but my 40FF is much better, gore tacks and only a small amount of quadding

    • 1

I can imagine you were swimming in this bra given that they calculated for you a 42F, this one is an entire cup size larger and this style also runs the largest out of Panaches bras.
I always suggest starting out with just calculating your bra size yourself or using brasizecalculator.tk or ABraThatFits on Reddits bra calculator. You have to be able to understand the measurements here before understanding where they gets your bra size from. And you always have to remember, it's just a start point. Your support comes from your band, so it has to be firm. Put the bra on upside down so that the cups aren't interfering with the band size and pull it away from your back, you should only be able to pull it away about an inch.
When measuring the rib it has to be VERY tight and a straight line around the torso. I always recommend having a friend help. So if your very tight rib measurement is 38 inches, you will either need a 38 or 40 band. Then measure your bust around the fullest point, it has to be in a straight line and just snug enough to not fall down. So if your bust is 47 inches you'll want to try a 38G, 38FF, 40F, 40FF and perhaps a 40E in bras that run quite large (I always use UK cup sizing as it is standardized).
