  1. Tango Balconnet Bra (9071)

    Didn't fit

The cups were entirely too much for my breasts - I was swimming in this bra and the band wasn't tight enough. I returned it.

This bra is not owned any more

    • Swimming? OH DEAR! :) Tango is also on my "to try" list, in a 38GG or 40G so kinda near this.

Yes, I think my 90 degree measurement has the calculation for cup size wrong (It gave me 42F). I've not yet found the right bra for me. I've had 42DDD (US) that are too big and 42DD that are too small - but nothing quite right. I think I'm going to attempt cacique next, despite some people saying they break quickly. dfe98we

    • You just have to find a style **and** size that fits. Some of my old 42DDD fit well enough to wear occasionally, but my 40FF is much better, gore tacks and only a small amount of quadding

I can imagine you were swimming in this bra given that they calculated for you a 42F, this one is an entire cup size larger and this style also runs the largest out of Panaches bras.
I always suggest starting out with just calculating your bra size yourself or using brasizecalculator.tk or ABraThatFits on Reddits bra calculator. You have to be able to understand the measurements here before understanding where they gets your bra size from. And you always have to remember, it's just a start point. Your support comes from your band, so it has to be firm. Put the bra on upside down so that the cups aren't interfering with the band size and pull it away from your back, you should only be able to pull it away about an inch.
When measuring the rib it has to be VERY tight and a straight line around the torso. I always recommend having a friend help. So if your very tight rib measurement is 38 inches, you will either need a 38 or 40 band. Then measure your bust around the fullest point, it has to be in a straight line and just snug enough to not fall down. So if your bust is 47 inches you'll want to try a 38G, 38FF, 40F, 40FF and perhaps a 40E in bras that run quite large (I always use UK cup sizing as it is standardized).

  2. Tango Ii Balconnet Bra (3251)

    Fits

When I stand or sit straight, the cups lay flat and the gore is just fine. When I slump at all, the cups wrinkle a little at the top and the gore cuts in a little. So with good posture, this is probably my best fitting bra.

**Over time I've found the wires are just a smidge too high for maximum comfort.**
