This one is very slightly too big in the band for me - marginal. It's also slightly small in the cup.
The underwire is very uncomfortable between the boobs, too high, digs into the chest wall.
This bra is used as a 'going-out' bra - I love the colour and fabric. Although it doesn't quite fit, it's OK for a few hours and I feel good in it if I ignore the underwire digging into my chest. The straps are padded.
This bra doesn't fit me at all. (I bought it some years ago on clearance, non-returnable, and it has been sitting in a bin of clothes to sell for a while. It didn't fit me when I first got it and it doesn't fit me now.)
The wires are, I think, a little narrower than some other Panache bras, although the center gore is fairly wide. The cups are very shallow, and seem to run around one cup size small. Definitely not good for full-on-bottom breasts, as it is especially shallow towards the bottom of the cups.
The cups themselves are three sections: one small inner lower section, one ...large outer lower section (which makes up the majority of the cup) and a small upper section which is non-stretchy lace. The lower sections come up quite high. The lower sections are satin with a lace overlay, lined with some kind of mesh-y material.
The straps are not as much of a problem as far as digging into my arms as some other balconettes, although this may be because of the narrower cups, that are definitely too small. The straps material is nice, padded but still smooth, and a good width. They are only partially adjustable, with a ring separating the two sections of strap.
This is a partial band bra, with the cups sticking below the band. The band is made of stretch lace, which is very pretty, and quite soft and comfortable, if not that secure-feeling. The band is *extremely* stretchy. It's possible they changed this on future versions of this bra, because it doesn't seem like everyone thinks this, but on this specific bra, the band is very stretchy indeed. (As in, this bra, marked a 32, would fit someone who usually takes a 36, I think.) I close it on the tightest hook, and I can pull it quite far away from my body. It's not a ton bigger than some Panache 34's I've tried, but some, I think.
So all in all, this bra which is marked 32JJ, I think fits more like 34HH/36H, and will work best on someone who is full on top, and has boobs set low on the chest and shallow at the bottom. If you like the color, it is pretty, with the lace and everything. Read more 274 more words
This seems to be the right size in Panache for me but from comparing this with my Ewa Michalak bras, I think that the Panache bras are just too wide on my body. It looks like I really need narrower, deeper cups, which this bra does not have. I end up with empty space on the sides/bottom but a quadraboob effect on top so I have to readjust the bra often.
The bra is certainly pretty but I found the material to be itchy. The straps themselves are pretty wide set, which I found digs into my arms some.
Wow! What a lovely bra! The colour is stunning, and I love the lace wings! It's fairly comfortable save for my usual issue of the wires digging into my ribcage (does this often go hand in hand with the orange in a glass issue?). One thing that surprised me while I put it on was that I got the fabled squeaking wires I'd heard so much about but never seen. So far they don't seem to squeak as I wear the bra. The wires are almost too tall on the sides, as I can feel them touching my armpits if I tell ...my brain to look for that sensation, but it's not painful at all. I'm not sure about stretching, as it came with tags, but I have the bra done up on the smallest set of hooks. Another small issue is that when I put it on, the straps were already adjusted as short as they could go, and they still feel a little on the loose side. It's wearable, but I think I'll take pictures, measure, replace the tag, and set it aside for listing. I just noticed that the lace at the sides is a bit itchy. Read more 102 more words
This is my bra, you can't have it. Well, it fits my breasts perfectly, though I hear others have some issues with it. There is slight wrinkling at the top of my smaller breast, but its very slight and for everything else, it is perfect.
It looks a little wrinkly in these pictures, but that's sort of the... 3d fabric, 2d picture effect, I fill it nicely.
I read about this bra on Bras I Hate and ordered it because the author of that blog said that it was a great bra for women with breasts that are full on top. She was absolutely right. This bra gives me a very uplifted round shape. My breasts look curved on top without the top of the bra cutting in at all.
In typical Panache fashion, the underwires come up too high under my underarms, but I will take my trusty Dremel tool to them and shorten them by about an inch or so, as I did with my Cleo Lucy.
Even with the underwire issue, this is my favorite bra!
I love this bra! It's my new favorite. It looks great and doesn't sag during the day. The only thing even a little wrong is the lace. While tugging the bra on the other day, I pulled just the lace and now there's a very small rip in it that I don't know how to repair. Now I'm very careful.
This bra runs small in the cup. And when I say 'small', I mean almost one cup smaller than the label suggests. It also has really narrow underwires for a Panache bra. They are very log though and may poke. The band isn't very stretchy, therefore lowering your size too much might not be a good idea. The bra is really beautiful, made of satin covered with lace. The inside fabric unfortunately isn't as comfy. The lace on the upper part of the cup is soft and rather loose, which gives an impression of too big cups even on my bigger boob, which otherwise wouldn't fit, so in my case it's rather a good thing.
Mind that I bought the bra used, so the original measurements might be a little different from mine.
This bra is cute in theory (and pictures), but does not work well with my breasts. The band is too tight and cuts into my ribs and rib flares, squishing my "backfat" more than I am ok with. The band is so tight that it warps the cup wires and causes them to be too wide; if the band were the right size, the cup width would be fine. Either way, the cups are too shallow in the center and too far apart for me, as well as being overall too small for me - lots of quadding. Overall, the bra is so small on me that I don't feel I can make much of a good analysis.
