I'm just going to do a mini review because I already reviewed this bra in the past.
I previously tried this bra in a 36K, and unfortunately it's now slightly too small for me. I'm now measuring between a 36KK and 36L. I decided to try this in a 40K as a 36L sister size, and it's slightly too large for me. If I look at the measurements of this and the Bravissimo Alana in 36KK and 36L, this is larger than both.
For reference my breasts are pendulous, full on top, splayed, wide and short rooted, and high set.
I absolutely love the fit of this bra. Functionally, the support is even better than the Panache Tango which up until this point in time has been my most supportive bra. The good thing about this bra is that it manages to be a heavy lifter without giving me either an extremely east-west or forward projected look. It's kind of in between wide and projected, which seems to be the best balance for me personally. I prefer to have a balanced look to my figure, so I need a bra that gives ...me a good hourglass profile from the front without making me look flat from the side.
The material is sheer and breathable, which is perfect for work because I don't sweat through the bra to the point of being uncomfortable. The wires were a little creaky the first day I wore this, but it stopped after one light hand washing and a full day of wear. The embroidery does show under thin shirts, so keep that in mind if this sort of thing bothers you. Despite being so sheer, this bra keeps my nipples under control (since it's gotten colder I discovered my nipples were showing under my bras, so I had to improvise some nipple covers with cut up pantyliners in my bra.)
I'm not a fan of this shade of mint against my skintone, so I think I'll be dyeing it to a more suitable color. I think this color would be great for someone who likes to look tan because it makes my pasty skin look like I spent a day at the beach.
The straps on this bra are short enough so that I don't have to adjust them all the way. I actually have about an inch and a half left of space on the strap. For reference, I'm 5'2" with high set breasts, so this is a glorious feat from any bra.The wires don't run too high or too short, and they don't poke, rub, or otherwise inconvenience me. The band is snug without being bonecrushingly tight, and it doesn't seem to stretch out throughout the day. I'm currently wearing it on the second hooks right out of the package because I've been measuring 35 inches around lately after some weight loss.
In short, if you like the Tango and bras that fit like it but you desire a better appearance and more comfort, I'd strongly recommend this bra. Read more 315 more words
I'm still searching for the perfect fit in a bra. This bra is too big around and too small in the cups. It probably doesn't have enough immediate projection. when I sit down, the bones ride down and then the back rides up. Fastening it on the tightest hook doesn't really help the problem . Gore kind of digs in. I think if I could find the right size, it would hold my very dense breasts well., A fairly smooth look under clothing. Seams might show too much in a light colored t shirt, but in a dark one, they are passable. I've also tried this in a 30G, 30F and 32E and 28G (see pictures in mint color and review)
I am short ( 5-1/2) and am short waisted and this bra is not uncomfortable under the arms
The wire on this bra tacks very well in the center, although, as is common in this size range, the wire extends too far around my side, nearly to the back of each arm. Also, as with most bras, the straps are set too far towards the armpits. This bra would be good for someone full on top; I have pretty balanced fullness, and there's a little extra fabric on top both in the center and at the armpit. I think I will take it in a little in both areas. I can't go down a cup size because I need the fullness in the lower cup and ...the overall cup depth provided by this size.
There is some nice shaping in the triangular piece in the lower cup at the center, which helps make room for the fullness in the lower breast and keep it curvy instead of flattening me out there like many bras do. The overall shape is rounded with a subtle peak, which I like, and it doesn't push my boobs easty-westy like most bras do in my size. The mint color is pretty and the fabric is light and comfortable, with a slight texture that may be visible under thin tops. It doesn't have any padding but the seams converge at the nipple providing a little nipple coverage. The straps are minimally stretchy with a fairly soft texture, and a lot of range of adjustment.
Compared to most bras I've tried it seems to be comfy and should be great once I do a little adjusting at the top edges of the cup. Read more 160 more words
ok, i am about to post a lot of bras that don't fit. my reviews truly wont be helpful but hopefully my measurements are. I recently lost 75 lbs, so I need new bras. going from obese to healthy weight, well it is a big change, so I am pretty much starting from scratch. I took my measurements and ordered a heidi klum and a couple panache in the sizes closest, but all were just way too small in the cup, so obviously uncomfortable for me, but i wanted to get the measurements up here for others as once i start to zero in on correct size, I find others measurements helped me alot with the right brand and style.
this one is sort of close if I add a band extender so i can kind of sit the bottom underwire on the lower part of my breasts to avoid the quad boob thing
This band is too small, I have to wear an extender with it. The underwire on the sides and the straps all dig in and make it slightly uncomfortable. I'd prefer this one in a 32 band and a J or JJ cup I think. I don't quadboob but I come close. It's an okay bra, I'm either going to return it or try to see if it will stretch out and become comfortable.
