Finally, in size 30DD I have a winner. I cannot tell you how thrilled I am to have a nice t-shirt bra in my size. If you've seen my other bras, you know it's been a struggle.
I hope that in the future ...Panache will choose to make this bra in band size 28 (like the original Porcelain), because this bra has to be fastened on the middle or tightest hook for me. Most of my bras are size 30, but this band is very stretchy (see measurements).
The foam lining is thin (about 1/8" ) and light -- just enough for "camouflage" as it were. The straps, comfortable; and though they look very wide set, for some reason they feel good on me and I'm not very big. Could have something to do with them being somewhat cushioned.
The lace is gorgeous and sexy, especially for a t-shirt bra! It is also very soft and non-irritating. Definitely no machine washing for this baby. The cups are very round... that t-shirt shape which is becoming an American classic (our Continental cousins don't seem to be so bothered by seams and a natural cone shape as we American girls generally are).
Summertime is here, and this should be a great item for the hot weather because the cups have a cotton blend lining and the bra overall is lightweight. My Tisha bra (Le Mystere 955), though flattering, feels like an industrial clunker next to the Porcelain Lace. I'll be having fun with this one.
Purchased from Her Room in late Spring 2010. (Incidentally, this will be my last order from this retailer for a long, long time. I will not recommend them because of customer service issues. Don't worry though! This bra is also available at Bare Necessities, Breakout Bras, and Nordstrom, among others.)
*** UPDATE *** I've been wearing this bra for a couple weeks now and I still love it... I even ordered another one from Breakout Bras. Highly recommended.
Sometimes I feel like Panache's Porcelain bras were made based off a fit model with similar proportions to mine. I can literally order any variation of this style and be fairly confident that it will fit.
I like the lace detail and nude-ish color of this bra (in Mocha). My only concern is that the lace will fold up or age quicker than the rest of the bra, but it looks to be decent quality.
This fits pretty similar to other Porcelain bras. I would say good for wider, lower boobs. The straps are NOT fully adjustable.
Same issues as with the Panache Porcelain Moulded T-shirt Bra (3376) in 28DD, though the cups were a bit better. Band was just too loose on me, and it seems the cups were still too small. This bras prettier though, and the red lace was a nice addition.
This bra seems to be a little stiff, although that may go away with a few washings. It definitely runs tighter both in the band and in the cups. The mocha color is beautiful, much better than the blush that the non-lace comes in. Colorwise, it disapears under a white tee, although the texture of the lace peeks through just a tiny bit. The detailing is gorgeous and the straps are nice and thin (and just a tiny bit padded, so they don't have that razor's edge feel. I do wish the cups had a little sheen, not only for appearance but also so shirts would slide a little more. Unfortunately, the fit just isn't right. If I had to guess, I'd say it fits more like a 28F.
Too big in band and seems too big in cup but not sure because the band is just too loose. Did not feel comfortable at all. This size and style is not for me. I am just learning and this website is so great. I didn't even realize that this site has recommendations going by measurements. This was not one of the bras recommended. Well six bras down and more to come. I will find the right bra and when I do, I will order every color. LOL
This bra fits me really well. I'm just not sure I like the look it gives, it provides good support but doesn't give any cleavage. I know it's a t-shirt bra and it does serve that purpose, but I would like it to be more versatile with at least a little cleavage for v-neck shirts.
I was actually surprised this worked for me! I think there is some space in the bottom of the cup, as if it is too projected, but it doesn't seem to create a problem. There is wrinkling at the bottom of the cup that is apparent when not wearing the bra--seems to be a result of the sewing of the outside fabric to the cup; I'm not sure.
This bra doesn't seem to cut in much, if at all, to my tall roots (which is what I expected to happen!). The bra material is very nice to the touch and comfortable to wear. Gives a great shape. I love the feel of band.
I bought this in my quest for a darker nude (tan?) bra that actually fit me. And it fits me... but just not the way I'd like. I can't pinpoint what's wrong... maybe the top is slightly big (though the 30D quadboobed so I don't know) but while it's wearable, the shape it gives me is slightly odd. Plus the straps sit right on the ends of my shoulders so I spend most of my time pushing them up. As a result I haven't worn it more than the one time when I first got it. It's a comfortable bra but it just doesn't work for me.
The shape was too shallow on the bottom for me. I like the fabric of the cup, it's really soft and feels nice. The lace detailing on the wings keeps it from being boring too. Center core is nice and short.
