This is a great option if you're looking to get a Panache Sports bra at a discount. The bra is identical to the standard wired Panache Sports bra, and has tall moulded cups with narrowish wires. I would advise anyone with short roots or a full on bottom shape to size down in the cup. The wires are padded, and overall the bra is very comfortable. The fabric of the top is very swim-like, and in fact I wear it as a swimsuit pretty frequently. The band is fairly true to size, and I was hoping it would be tighter.
This unfortunately didn't fit for a number of reasons. Firstly, I could barely fasten it in the back. I had to struggle with it a lot to get it to stretch enough the first time, and even though it stretched out a little after being worn for a while, it was still a challenge to get it on. There was also quite a bit of extra space at the top and a little space at the bottom. I think the cups might run large, and it seems like it's definitely meant for more full on top breasts than mine.
Despite all this, it was still quite supportive, and I ...would have overlooked it if not for the fact that the shirt wouldn't stay down. If I moved around at all, it would ride up. Not exactly ideal for exercise. I think if my stomach was flatter it would have been fine, but considering the entire reason I bought it was to lose my pregnancy weight, it seemed a little silly to keep it at this point.
One nice feature it has is the J-hook in the back, which helped a little with the issues I was having with the extra room in the cups.
If I was going to try another one of these, I would try one band size up and one cup size down, but I think unless I find a really great deal on one, I'll just look for a traditional sports bra. Read more 135 more words
My first sports bra! And in my proper size! Very soft and comfortable pink tank top version of the Panache Sport.
The molded cups are a bit wide, shallow, and tall for me; my short, narrow roots and super projected shape (nearly omega?) make it look like gap city. And the gore doesn't tack at the top. However, I didn't find that this negatively changed how the bra worked, so I kept it.
The straps are nicely padded and there is a J hook for a racerback converter you can easily do up yourself if you have full arm mobility. Be aware that the band does come ...super tight..I needed my boyfriend's help to get it on the first few times, and ended up using an extender because I didn't want to rip out the hooks and eyes while moving around. However, I don't think I'd want to go up to a 34 as I think it would be too loose, especially over time as I exercised more.
The tank part of it could be longer (I have a longer torso), and it does tend to ride up a bit. Also, the fabric is super clingy, so that plus the rolling up doesn't make it the best for people who are wanting to disguise their fat rolls.
It is a bit tricky to get on. I just pull it on like a shirt before leaning over to pull my boobs into the cups. Then I roll up the back part of the tank (like a shirt), then reach under to fasten the straps. It does take some practice.
Never thought I'd get to a point where the bouncing of my hair up in a bun would be more annoying than the bounce of my boobs! Read more 185 more words
Fits like the panache wired sports bra. Gives great support while working out. I liked that I could add both of the colors of this style to my workout wardrobe for $40 on eBay. They are much more affordable than the sports bra. The only thing I don't like is the shirt does tend to ride up. Hopefully some weight loss will help.
This top is basically a Panache sports bra built into a shirt. This bra is the holy grail of sports bras. The band fits snugly and the cups hold everything in place perfectly. It's great for any type of exercise. The cups do run a little big -- I could have sized down to 28DD if I had wanted to, but I'm still ok in the 28E.
I would like slightly larger cups - but the top doesn't come in 30HH, and the 32H Panache Sport bra I already wear needed altering to be tight enough in the band (and after many wears now needs taking in again.) Apart from the small amount of quadboob, I'm very pleased with this top. The material is smooth and stretchy, like swimsuit fabric. The coloured stripes have tiny squares in pink, yellow, white and different shades of blue. The curves make my waist look smaller. The strap length is fine for me, but might be a problem for people with longer torsos (I'm short) as straps need to be longer to wear with the j-hook fastened, which gives the best support. It's a bit awkward to put on, since even though the bra band is unfastened the back of the top remains in the way, but easier to remove.
I've got two of these - the black/geo and the coral/yellow. Both fit well in the bra department, identical to the sports bra, but the body is very loose, at least 2 sizes too big (my waist measurement is 23" for reference).
