This bra was just silly. Normally I am okay with 36 bands, even ones considered stretchy, but this on was like my old 38 band, and it was like a floating boob cover more than any 36 bands I've tried so far. I immediately put it on the tightest hook and tightened the straps as tight as they could go and it was still so loose and flimsy.
I will put this down as my first official non-tacking gore. It still almost kind of tacked, like it was kind of brushing my skin, but it kind of leaned away from me at the top, threatening to float away.
It was ...hard to tell anything about the shape or the fit. Like I think it was an okay shape for me, but nothing would stay put because of how loose it was.
The bra is partly made of silk, which seems like a waste to me. It doesn't seem any nicer quality than other bras I've tried, or softer or anything, so it seems like a way to increase the price for no benefit.
I don't really want to try any more of these because it seems like such silly construction compared to the 22 other bras I've tried. I mean the soft-cup sports bra I tried seemed better. Read more 106 more words
I ordered this bra on purpose although I knew the size would not be right. The reason is that I tried to find the sister size to 28FF that I normally wear, or slightly bigger. I intend to alter the band myself.
I have to say it is going well so far, the cups really are very much like in 28FF!!

I really cannot comment on the fit more, because this size ...is so wrong for me. What comes to appearance, there are pictures I added. What you should notice though, is that even in this size there is only one pair of hooks and eyes per row!! But 4 rows instead of the usual 3.
EDIT. I find the quality of Mimi Holliday bras quite bad because of the wires! They are very, very stretchy. So the cups will get pulled when wearing the bra. So beware. Read more 75 more words
