  1. Oh man, I am just a sucker for impractical bras. Just what I need, ANOTHER flimsy black lacy bra in my life. But there's something about Mimi Holliday bras that I can't resist. Usually Mimi bras are made from such nice materials that it feels like a luxury just slipping one on. Who needs support when you have silky lace?

The Angelique is your basic black lace bra. The 3-part cups are lace, with a light inner lining of sheer material that, I assume, is for some degree of support. The straps are a narrow half-inch, and wrapped in soft satin-y material. This is much better than ... some Mimis I've worn, where the straps are basically ribbons. There are two hooks, and for some reason, the rows have more space between them than usual, making it impossible to use an extender. The cups don't lift my boobs up as high as I'd like. The shape seems natural, whereas my usual goal is "round and uplifted". At least the shape doesn't veer into pointy territory. The cups are a decent width, same with the height of the gore. And no digging into my armpits, yay!

I'm between band sizes at 29 inches, so this band seemed rather snug. In fact, when I measured it, the stretched length was 30 inches, while it measured 22.3 inches unstretched. Does that make this a "true" 28? So if you're right at 29 or 30 inches, and don't like a snug fit, opt for a 30 band instead, especially since the weird placement of the hooks doesn't allow for a standard extender.

Anyway, I'm keeping the Angelique, because the material is very comfortable and the cups fit with no quadboob. My tits don't *always* need to look like they are on a platter, I suppose https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

  2. This bra is great. I expected its fit to be similar to the Panache Andorra Plunge, another unpadded plunge that which offers my full on bottom, fairly soft breasts very little support, but it's nothing like that bra.

For one thing, it gives a wonderful shape. It holds my breasts higher than I'd expect of any unpadded bra, but without too much projection. It's amazingly comfortable. The lace that makes up the cups isn't itchy at all, and any possibly irritating edges that could touch the body are covered with a satiny smooth material. The straps aren't irritatingly ugly or large and are made up of the aforementioned amazingly ... comfy satin.
I was worried about all of its leafy/floral cup detailing and obvious 3-part construction, but all of those possibly obtrusive details vanish under all but the clingiest, thinnest fabric. It will make for a perfect everyday/nude (for a brown person) bra.

Its only possible issue is its center gore. Whether it tacks to me or not depends heavily on good posture, but so long as I'm not quadraboobing and everything else feels and fits this great, it's a nonissue.
