I really wanted this bra to fit, even though I sister-sized up a band size. I love the colour and the details- I'm a sucker for anything mermaid/nautical! The cups and the front of the band have the cutest blue-multi details. Unfortunately the band was just too big and the cups are WAY too big for me to even try to fill, especially since it is an unlined cup. I would say this would probably fit a 28GG or a 30G, since the cups just seem to be so much bigger than other 30Fs and 30FFs I have.

Note: It's a bit difficult to measure the "band", so the measurements may be off slightly.

It was very difficult to get over my thighs and butt. So much so that I got worried it would be really small in the torso and/or I might tear it. But when I managed to shimmy it up all the way, I was very pleasantly surprised at how it fit me.

The body is slimming and I think it looked really cute on me, and I am someone who has an aversion to swimwear. Granted the aversion is likely because of all the terrible non-bra-sized swimsuits I've owned over the years, but I ... kinda felt pretty in this.

The wires of the cups sat a bit low, and I couldn't really pull it up much more than that, but they (the cups) seem to want to stay in place and probably won't slide down more. The "band" is also rather firm and helps keep everything in place.

The halter strap (removeable) is thin, and it does "enhance" the tail of spence by digging in. I might try to make a new, wider strap with swim fabric to cover that area a bit more.

The way the cups are cut and covered makes my breasts also sit a bit lower on my chest (which the low-sitting wires are, no doubt, helping with), but I am still projected in it and not flattened out in the cups themselves (the breast tissue above the cup is a bit).

Soft, pretty, and a nice shape. Unfortunately it's not the right size for me--too small of a band, too large cups. The band runs small: it only measures 27-28 inches.

Same design as the swim suit I reviewed, only in bikini top form. Again, it's a lovely item, but didn't really fit me to begin with (cups too small), and now with the addition of migrated tissue (which I didn't know about at the time of purchase), it's about 2 cup sizes too small. It's good quality. Never wore it due to ill-fit, but the cups are spot on for 30FF-the band only stretches to 29" though, so it was a bit tight at the time of purchase. I love the floral motif and the polka dots. I love me a good polka dot. It's comfy despite cutting into my boobs, which was a nice feature. I'd say it would fit a larger 28G (someone who likes a bit of a looser band or is in between sizes).

So happy with this bra! I was very hesitant to buy it because there is almost no information about the Midnight Grace Figleaves line on bratabase, blogs, or even the Figleaves own website. I'm very happy I took the risk.

First of all, this bra does run a little tight for a 30 band. This is a plus for me, as I prefer 28 bands in a lot of bras. The stretched band is just under 30 inches, which makes it smaller than 3/4 of my recent Ewa 30-band purchases and 2-5 inches smaller, stretched, than 30-band Freya bras I've tried. If you like a looser 30, this is ... something to keep in mind.

The wires on this bra are narrow, very close in width to my Ewa bras, which was another plus for me.

Cups run true to size, and construction seems to be of good quality. Under a shirt, my breasts have a nice shape - lifted but not too out there, and somewhere between Freya and Cleo bras in terms of roudedness.

One thing of note is that the top layer of lace does not sit flat against the cups at all areas. It's only attached at one part. Therefore, the profile view of this bra makes it look super-pointy and/or like the bra doesn't fit properly. This is just the overlaying lace. If you put a shirt over the bra, none of this is visible.

I would definitely buy this or another Midnight Grace bra in the future.

I picked this up recently on a Figleaves sale, as I wanted a few more bikinis/tankinis for summer!

If you are looking for a vintage-style tankini, look no further! I was floored at how absolutely pin up girl this tankini looks on! The stripes are reminiscent of a sailor stripe style, and I really think it would look great with red bottoms instead of the striped ones that 'match'. The silhouette of the bra part is slightly pointy and slightly east-west, which helps give a rockin' 50's hourglass silhouette. Wow!

The strap is a halter strap which can be removed, so you can wear it strapless. The support isn't as ... great strapless, but it's still totally fine. I'd prefer traditional straps, but it looks really nice.

The cups are padded kind of weirdly, like the padding feels a little rigid in a weird way. It still feels totally fine.

I also should say that I wore this on the tightest hooks as I typically need a 28 band, but it is VERY firm on the tightest hooks -- no 28 band necessary!

Another super tight band from Figleaves Midnight Grace brand.

This bra is very cute with a ruffle detail on the straps.

  8. Pin Up Underwired Padded Sweetheart Bikini Top (SS117151)

I like this bikini top - the band is quite firm as is often the case with swimwear and the cups are a good fit. The straps are also fully adjustable, and the cups are lightly padded to avoid any unwanted nipple appearances.

I mostly wear swimwear at the pool so I need something more supportive than I would on a beach. The straps on this are unfortunately a little too thin for my liking, so they cut into my shoulders in the pool. It's fine on the beach but I don't find myself wearing it very often as I'm not lucky enough to go to the beach that often! When I did wear it the pool there was no loss of colour, which suggests the materials are good quality.
