First thing to note about these bras is that the sizes are weird. In addition to typical Small, Medium, Large, this bra comes in sizes like "Voluptuous" and "Va-Va-Va Voom." Then it also comes in that same range of size names, but with "Fab! Curvy" as a prefix to the size name. All this weird nomenclature can make it difficult to figure out which size you should order. They give approximations on their website of which of their strange size names correlates to which band/cup size. This is what their chart looks like:

Before nursing, I was a 30E, and now I'm somewhere between a 30E and 30F, so I went with the "fab! curvy X-small." Probably due to the confusing size names, I was accidentally sent this one, which is the regular "X-Small" and not the "Fab! Curvy X-Small." The company I ordered from did end up sending me the correct size bra after I pointed it out. Not the worst thing that ever happened, because it lets me compare the two sizes.

Size-wise, their chart seems to be fairly accurate. The regular "X-Small" was ok in the band for me (though not as firm as I would have liked), but much, much too small in the cup. I thought because there isn't an underwire and that there's some stretch that it would only be a tiny bit small, but it was definitely not the case. I think even a 30C could wear this size without a problem. When I put it on, I looked like I was wearing a little "triangle top" style string bikini; my nipples were covered, but there was boob hanging out on both sides of the cup.

It's also worth noting that the band on the Fab! Curvy X-Small was actually 1.5 - 2 inches smaller than the band on the regular X-Small. I laid one on top of the other to confirm and the Fab! Curvy X-Small is clearly smaller.

Now that I've covered the sizing, on to appearance and comfort!

This bra is super comfortable; definitely one of the most comfortable bras I've ever worn. There's no underwire, though there is a "channel" that runs under the boob where you would expect to see an underwire. There's nothing inside the channel though. Some nursing bra brands will put a flexible piece of plastic in there, but as far as I can tell, there isn't anything inside this one. Because there's no underwire, the "channel" doesn't sit underneath your breast where an underwire would. It sort of rides up and sits along the underside of your breast. At first it seems like that means it's not fitting correctly, but if you look a the photos of their models in the bra, that's how it fits all of them, so I think that's how it's meant to be. It looks like it would be uncomfortable, but it really isn't. The only part of this bra that isn't extremely comfortable is the tag. The tag is made of a cheap, scratchy material and I'm going to have to cut the tag out in order to wear it.

The bra comes by default with a "pad" inside of it, which is removable. The pad is extremely thin (more of a liner than a pad), just enough to provide nipple coverage or protection from a tiny bit of leakage. The website says you can wear the pad for "extra oomph" but really it's so thin that you're not going to get any "oomph" from it. And of course, you can remove it and wear it without if you prefer it that way.

Appearance-wise, this bra is nothing to write home about. It's a utilitarian design that gets the job done. With as comfortable as it is, I don't mind making the trade-off. If you want a really comfy nursing bra, I'd definitely recommend this one.
