I love Masquerade's retro 1940's aesthetic - a little burlesque, a little nostalgic, all woman. The matte patterned satin of Shanghai nails that aesthetic, it is right off a cheongsam (the high-neck fitted tunic) with its embroidered rose vines. It is also orange, not pumpkin but persimmon; again nailing it design-wise. How many sophisticated orange bras are there?? The gore is really, really low. This is a true plunge cut. The cups are deep enough for me at the wire and not exceptionally tall like other plunges but I think this fits closer to a 32F. The band is firm. The straps are embroidered, so not completely adjustable. Its a beauty, but I can't wear plunges.
