Hestia is very comfortable. Only the straps seem slightly uncomfortable at first (the front, embroided part does not stretch at all), but you can get used to them. Hestia is one of my biggest bras and I wear it only before the period, when my breasts are bigger than usual.
This bra fit well as I left the store with it but unfortunatly the band extended very soon. Now the cup still fits well but the band is too large. I recommend buying a band size smaller. I will shorten this bra.
I love these bras. I only wish they came in colors beyond black or white (like "nude") and weren't discontinued. I have almost bought all of them that are left from ebay. The band is big for me and stretchy, but I sew, so I just alter the band 2 inches smaller when I get them. The underwires are nice and wide and the shape of the cups is shallow enough, but not minimizing. The 2 vertical seams give me a nice full, rounded shape and the gore is short enough not to go digging into my sternum. I really wish Panache would make another with this pattern. I also find the strap placement to be better than every other Panache bra I've tried. When the band is still sufficiently tight the straps stay put. I'm starting to worry I will never find another bra that will fit as well as these do.
This bra fits exactly like a 30G. He's in really good state. The little price is explained by the fact that I made the error to wash it with another bra, and so the colour of the bra turned from white to cream, but he's still very beautiful! For measurements, please contact me in private message because as I'm french, i maybe made mistakes.
This bra is very pretty. I've been wanting to try a Masquerade, and I wasn't disappointed. I think this is my boyfriend's favorite of my new bras. It has vertical seams and gives a nice rounded shape. I love the black silky fabric. There is trim around the edges and on the straps that I'm not completely crazy about. It seems a little excessive to me, and it can be visible under clothing.
I wore it all day yesterday, and it was pretty comfortable. The straps may be a little wide for me, but this is a problem I have with a lot of bras. I think I'm ...getting used to it and it doesn't bother me as much anymore. The cups and band seem to run true to size. I can wear it on the tightest hooks right out of the package. I should really be in a 28 band, so I expected this. But for another cheap ebay find, I can't complain! Overall, I really like this bra.
EDIT: The wire has started sticking out at the top of the right side of the gore, and poking me. I'll have to try to fix that. I also think that I could do with 1-2 cup sizes larger in this bra, but since it is open at the top, there is no quadboobing. Read more 116 more words
The Hestia half cup is a classic bra for wide root shallow boobs The cups are very shallow and have wide wires. The band is on the stretchier side. I could close it on the second hook immediately. However a 28 band might have been to tight (I don't even know if they make them).
I noticed that even though the cups fit, the lace trim on top never lays flat. It also rolls in under clothes. I don't like the 'design' part of this bra too much, but it's hard to find halfcups without any embellishment, and the comfort and fit are worth it.
This is a really gorgeous bra, it's incredibly soft and beautifully made. The wires are on the narrow side, and the band has more stretch to it than the Rhea. The wings are a little short, but nothing unusual for Masquerade. I often have a problem with the center gore poking with other bras, but the wires are soft malleable. It might not provide much support in larger cup sizes, though.
While this bra is very pretty, it did not fit me at all. The cup is way too small with the top of the cup crossing right over my nipples, and the band way too big and stretchy to provide any support. I think in this bra I would have had to go down to a 28 band, and up at least two or three cup sizes to contain my breast. The fabric is lovely, and the lace detail eye catching. The seams that run up the front of the cup pull at the stitching.
