I was super exited when finding this bra because of the basically non existing gore. It’s kinda like it has a monowire but it has 2 wires with a tiny amount of wire channels between them. There are molded cups on the inside with a lace and rhinestones and some satin pleats on the outside. The label is a bit weird as the uk and us size don’t match up. I don’t think this bra would work for anyone with soft breasts due to how low the gore is but for anyone with no space between between the breasts this can be a miracle bra.

Randomly saw somebody that had this style and was impressed at the amount of volume in the sides of the cup. So tracked it down from someone else who it didn't work out for, and here we are. Voila, lo and behold, this style really did come thru for sideboob needs when hundreds of other designs that are supposedly for 'full on sides' shapes ...have failed miserably & felt like utter trash. When comparing the side panel of this style against other brands designs and home sewing patterns, the Allure's outer cup differs in that it features a gradual curve ascending up from the wire- which probably matches a breast, much better than the typical straight line that are built into almost every other bra on earth.
Sizing is difficult to determine, bratabase has doubted the multiple sizing systems on the tag, but it also seems to admit that this brand is chaotic & has a ton of different size conversions for the same size for many of their styles, so buyer beware. Hope that this range remains somewhat consistent as it was a task to confirm the kind of volume one could expect from any given size in M&S!
While I'd heard everyone else rave on it, I didn't expect much in the way of looks so have been doubly surprised here. The fabric is very lovely in person, sort of a faux-silk kelly green with very soft hand to it, and subdued but very lovely lime-light luster in the frame and underwire channeling. Really impressed with the gore construction, wonderfully narrow on top and whittled down to about 2" apart at the very bottom. Love the tiny stitchwork & high end powernet band. While I will be grateful for the double layer of netting this summer, it's yet to be seen how much security it offers. I cannot imagine this to be the most stabilizing for anyone whose depending on this bra to provide much support or uplift.
There is some pretty decent immediate depth in this one, around an inch or so and after that the cup is not very quick to close in to the apex. Meanwhile the upper cup is pretty open so seems this would be friendlier to those with more upper fullness. Those who are narrower than 5.5" wide, & over 4" in projection will likely find this to be rounding & experience some folding up/quadding in the upper cup, while others who are generally full but not center full, find a better fit. I'm merely extra-wide load with more side heaviness than anyone has right to possess at this small of a size, and just happy that my breast & tall root finally fit somewhere without much fuss. This bra fits great! I wish they still made this model because I want to buy more! The stretch lace fits my conical uneven breast. The partial band is so comfortable. The band is snug, but I suspect it's because it's a dark color.
I got a two pack of these from eBay new with tags. I wanted to experiment with modifying the gores on bras as usually they are too tall and wide. I had a go at shortening the wires and making the gore narrower on the other one in the pack. It went ok but I don't wear it often so I don't want to do it to this bra. I would rather someone who could use it can have it instead of me.
For me, the gore comes up too high and is far too wide, it sits on breast tissue. It doesn't give me a good shape under clothes either. I have a longline version of this bra where I sewed up the gore and it gives me a natural round shape under clothes, this has more of a pointy shape.
This is quite an old style from M&S which I got new with tags from eBay. I had one new in around 2009 and I really liked it but it was a 34A, the fit wasn't ideal. I was slightly smaller to what I am now so no wonder it wasn't a good fit. I wore it loads and one of the straps ended up snapping off from the plastic circle thing which attaches the adjustable part of the strap to the non-adjustable part. I was very pleased to see my old favourite pop up on eBay in a size which might have worked for me.
The cups in ...this bra are two layers of thick stretchy cotton. They are comfortable and as they are thick, they hide nipples more than other soft cup bras I have worn. I like this and haven't been able to find other bras with similar cup material.
The cups are very wide and shallow which is the opposite of my shape, there is more than a thumb's width of room between the end of my tissue and the end of the wire. My close-set boobs are squashed up into the middle which gives a minimised look from the side and doesn't provide support when I walk quickly. The band is not very stretchy and initially, it was tight for a 32 so I wore an extender but it is comfortable now. The straps do not extend long enough, I have them on the longest setting and they could do with being even longer. I really like the very low gore though, often I find bras come up far too high.

Because this bra doesn't fit me in the slightest I don't really know where to start.
The wings or sides of the cups come up so high it cuts into my armpits and rubs me horribly in just 30 minutes wear. I'm not very tall but I have only had this problem with the Freya Deco bra which also rubbed my armpits The band is comfortable, but the cups feel like bags. They feel like they are a cup size too big and also too short.
I'm a bit confused how the top of the cups can be so loose in the mesh but then also cut in at ...the top. How is the top both too loose and too tight? Are my roots too high? Is the shape that poor for me? I am FoT, medium separation. I've never had a bra fit so oddly.
Also, the material is incredibly scratchy.
That said, other than Curvy Kate's Ritzy balcony bra, this bra has the most comfortable gore for me. It's the only really good thing I have to say about it. Not too high, not too low and not too wide. Read more 82 more words
I am FOB, wide distance in the front, I do not need wide wired and have average projection. I looked for plunge bras with a very low gore and found this bra when I was on vacation in Scotland. I would have never bought this bra online as is is a very standard plunge, but when I tried on it fit, it was cheap, it was purple - I bought it. After some month of wear I am quite happy with this bra. Due to the low bridge it is quite comfy bit the rather thin band tends to cut into my tissue. It does not bring my breasts ...really close together but I bought it as a bra under clothes anyway so this is okay. In opposite so many polish bras this one has a quite good front projection which looks quite good with high cut tops. I guess most of the bratabase users are sized out from this model anyway but I recommend looking at this brands for everyone in the smaller size range. This is a really beautiful bra I only wore a couple of times before my bra size changed. I love how the mesh looked when on and the colour is really pretty. I have sensitive boobs but the underwire wasn't painful!
I purchased this bra for the racerback straps and back. so I can't comment on fit whatsoever because it is so outside my actual size! But as far as appearance goes, it's a really pretty shade of coral pink, called "sunset." The lace on the padded push up cups is a nice touch atop the polka dot fabric. The racerback style back is what drew me to this bra initially; I'm hoping to swap these straps onto another of my bras.
This bra, although a well made piece, is too small for me and the cups don’t really hold my boobs in place. There is spillage at the top of the cups, and a little at the side. However, if this bra was of the correct size for me, I’m sure it’ll be very comfortable and something I’d wear regularly

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. The quality is fine but not as good as it could/should be. I bought this one on eBay about 11 years ago. It was purple and well priced, though the tag cut to “prevent returns.” The tag states part of a set but I only got the bra.
The color is a dusty purple, which looks like a dingy purple instead of a bright or true purple. It’s okay but not my favorite purple for sure.
The center gore has a slight peek a boo feature which is nice yet subtle.

I really like this bralet. It isn´t a bra so it isn´t the kind of support or shape you would expect from a bra though. It is very comfy. I wear it to sleep or just when i am at home cooking watching tv etc. Occassionally i have worn it out of the house such as going to the grocery store but my breasts do bounce a bit in it so it isn´t really enough support for that. Also i like the shape it gives - nice and natural with a bit of cleave but i wouldn´t be able to wear it ...under a fitted top itdoesn´t really give any shape or uplift.
The lace on the bottom does tend to roll up a little which could be annoying but i am just wearing for comfort so doen´t really care.
It is a bit loose in the body for me but (as said above i am really just watching tv and sleeping in it so it is fine). I wouldn´t want to go down a size as then i think it would be too small in the cups plus it would then be even harder to get on. I prefere bralets that still have normal bra fastening at the back as i don´t like pulling it on over my head as getting it over my head and breasts is a bit tricky but it is comfy once on. My first bra in one of my ATBF sizes, and it's just horrible! The cups are incredibly stiff & hard, as is the whole bra, no flexibility at all. The cups gape on top (though that may be because I'm FOB), they seem huge, and the wires are way too big & wide. As I'm not used to such big cups, I don't know if it's just this bra or are all DD cups so huge, but I don't think so.
(Luckily I bought it used on eBay... Though not sure how a 2nd hand bra can still be so stiff & hard!!)
