I love this bra so much! First of all it looks very nice. It runs tight, which is good for me since I'm not a true 28-band. It still rode up a liiiittle on my back, which could just be from my slouching awkwardly for the hour before I took it off. It hold my left breast nicely - perfect fit. However, the right cup is too large (My right breast is about a cup size smaller than my left). Overall, this bra is amazing!
I absolutely love the look of this bra, it's silky purple with a black mesh on the top of the cups. I don't think it would work for someone that's full on top like me because the mesh can be a bit tight for this shape.
The inside of the bra is blue silk and very comfortable. It doesn't really give a cleavage effect but looks good on https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
The band is tighter than a normal 30, measures 29 stretched, and might be more suited to a 28DD than a 30D.
When I first got this bra, I adored it. I saved it for 'special ocassions' so haven't got as much wear as I'd've liked out of it.
It's a balcony style bra but the underwires don't dig into me like other balcony styles, and it has some push up padding in the cups so looks amazing on. It has a big strip of elastic at the bottom of the longline, so it doesn't really ride up, and at the sides there is a supportive 'boning' piece of plastic that keeps the longline in place.
As is usually the case with M&S limited collection, the band runs a bit tight and the cups a tad small.
I wish I could keep this bra and I'll be on the lookout for a similar one that'll fit.
This is a really lovely bra with lace covering the cups and the underwire cover part contrasting in colour. The fabric feels very durable, and the straps are very supportive.
The cups are pretty narrow, but the underwire will stretch out, so it does feel slightly narrow on my larger boob, but not uncomfortably small. The cups also feel like they run a half cup size smaller than they should, which is okay since the quadboob I'm getting is "good" quadboob (cleavage) haha! Luckily it doesn't really cut in there, so it looks fine.
The band also feels quite firm for a 28, it was very difficult stretching it to 27 inches, so I'd say it runs a band size smaller too.
Update: After wearing this bra for a day, I noticed that the center gore was leaving unsightly marks on my breast tissue. Outch!
This is a gorgeous looking bra, with great push up for a good cleavage.
It has a very tight band, probably to fit a 26E rather than a 28DD.
Some padding in the bottom of the cups, but not obvious or uncomfortable.
I would keep this bra, which I got from another bratabase member, but I need to accept the fact that it just doesn't fit https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Very comfortable and good support like all the Limited collection plunges. Gives a really good shape without too much "in your face" push-up effect. It's too small for me now in the cup though and the wires are too narrow.
Since this is the DD+ collection, the padding is thicker than the A-DD collection but the straps are more comfortable.
This bra is too big in the band and the cup is very big also. My UK size is 30 GG or H, but the problem with this bra is that the style is not the right style for me.
This bra is quite small for an E cup and I feel that a 28F might fit me better, as I quite often have to readjust the bra so that my boobs are not escaping from the top of the cup. Apart from that, it is a good quality bra that has a pretty lace pattern, and because it is white I don't have to worry about it showing through my clothes. I have 2 of these bras, so they were a reasonably decent buy.
Very pretty bra, supportive with only 1 hook and gives a little cleavage but I have issues with the cup.
There is a small gap at the top of the cup, but overall the cup looks to be way too small for my breasts.
The underwires are too small and do not encapsulate the entire breast and the straps do not like to stay in the length I adjusted, it slips and becomes longer with time.
I think it is a good bra, but the cup and underwire part did not work for me.
The band on this one is TINY. I measure 26", and it is really very snug on me - I might wear an extender for a few weeks as it stretches out. It runs pretty large for an F cup - there is a bit of wrinkling at the top of the cup. It's a gorgeous satiny blue-grey in color, with a bright blue ribbon in the center. The wings are taller under the arm, and much smaller across the back.
This bra is awesome! I think it would fit better in a size down- unless I am using excellent posture, there is some gaping at the top, however, this bra is EONs better than my 34B molded cup bras. It looks smooth under shirts (you can't even see the gaping). In some of my thinnest shirts, you could see a hint of the top of the cup, and a hint of the diagonal seam, but you couldn't see the lace detail at all. The inside is awesomely polka-dotted. As noted elsewhere, M&S skips the FF, so this would be a 28FF, but since ...the band only stretches to 27", it's really more of a 26G. I've got a 26" ribcage measured tightly, and this felt very snug. The wing height is a little higher than in the Flirtelles, so between that and the snug band, I didn't have to re-swoop and scoop. The molded cup doesn't add bulk, but it does keep things modest if you're concerned about headlights. This bra gives a more rounded and spread look, as opposed to forward-projected, but I like the silhouette. I think in one size down I may even get cleavage. Read more 102 more words
Even though I measure 25 inches for my band measurement, this bra is definitely tight enough on the loosest hook! I would recommend sizing up in band size for this bra. The underwire doesn't poke anywhere, and overall it's pretty comfortable.
M&S bra sizes miss out a FF, so this is really a 28G. It's the first bra I've ever seen them sell in this size so I was excited to try it. As with most M&S bras I've tried, the band is quite snug, which I like as I really need a 26 band. The cups are moulded and weren't quite what I expected. The shape is a rounded version of a 'natural' breast shape, so it would be good if you like moulded cups but not the artificially round (I'm thinking Deco) look they usually give. The cups are also deep, and they were too big for me. The fabric is very soft and the design is simple and good for everyday. The cups are a little more full coverage than I prefer, and the band does not extend under the cups, which usually means digging in from the wires on me. I didn't wear it long enough to find out if it did this.
This is NOT a 30G bra. M&S skip out FF cup sizes, so this is really a 30FF. However, the bands on M&S bras often run quite small (the 28s fit me extremely well, and my underbust is 25-26) and the cups in this style are a little on the small side too.
I thought this was the same as the plunge styles I had tried from M&S before, but it is slightly different. There is no band under the cups, which means they stretch when the bra is on and flatten out the profile. This might be good for some, but I don't like it. I also find ...it very uncomfortable when I bend over as the underwires then dig in.
Other than that, it's a nice bra. The cups are moulded, so you get a smooth shape, and the little added details like contrasting connecters on the straps are really nice. And for £14 it's very good value. In the past, the similar styles I have tried have not stretched out very quickly and this one seems of similar build, but I will be returning this one so I can't comment for sure. I first bought this bra because of good reviews and the high cotton percentage (37%), which I thought would make it a good alternative to unpadded bras in summer.
This bra would be really great for people with a really broad root. My root, although broad, is not broad enough for this bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" /> It has a supersmall band, it only stretches to 64 cm, even though it's a 60 band (or 28). I sort of like the "rustical" look, but absolutely cannot get it to fasten. With an extender, the cups are too big and broad for me.
