    Didn't fit

A brand new swimwear brand has launched from Australia. I don't know who's in charge of updating new brands' size ranges. but they offer UK 28-38 D-HH. The cups are narrow and projected, but they are very very tall and the straps are very wide-set. And the wires are super sturdy. Unfortunately that kills the fit for me, but the full review is on the blog! WHY does Wordpress always pick my backside as the thumbnail picture lololol.... argh.

I'm glad y'all think it at least looks cute. I was pretty underwhelmed by the shape it gave it me and it's incredibly uncomfortable. Top is going back. The bottoms I'm keeping forever lol.

    • Wow! :) Looks great! Not sure I'd rock that color as much as you do though D:

    Fits

My adventure with full bust swimwear continues and this time I had the pleasure to try a bikini from the gorgeous new Australian brand Lilly & Lime! I was having many fitting issues at the beginning, namely the dreadful upside-down seven look...but them I acted like a ninja on those wires and bang! bend them to the point that the cups got deeper and narrower, thus looking pretty better!

  3. Underwire Halter Top

    Didn't fit

I'll just write this review as a list because it's a lot to cover. I first heard about Lilly & Lime on Bratabase, and this white and green print really caught my eye. It was too expensive for me at the time but went on sale by the time I needed a new bikini top.

    Pros:
    - Minimal cleavage, which I love because I don't necessarily want people staring at my exposed chest at the pool when I'm with my kids.
    - Cute pattern. I wish I had the matching bottom.
    - It has removable padding.
    - The halter top design makes it look less like a bra.
    - Somehow ... it has worked for me over a range of sizes (~32G/GG down to ~30FF/G)
    - Came with a small wet bag and a tape measure.

    Cons:
    - Kind of east-west (tradeoff of having minimal cleavage, I guess.) Makes me look a bit wider than I'm used to.
    - Clasp is a bit difficult to do in the back.
    - Some of the stitching is coming apart a little by the halter straps. It came this way. I can fix it, so it's not a big deal, but this seems like something that should have been noticed.
    - Ships from Australia (expensive since I'm in the US)

Overall, I like this top a lot and would love to try different patterns and cuts if I went swimming often enough to justify having more than one.
