My shape: average root width; tall, shallow roots; even fullness; projected; very soft breasts.

This bra is the wrong cup size and band size for me. The band is the smallest that L'agent make, and it does run small - stretching to 32 inches max before the wires/cups distort - but, with my snug underbust of 27, is too big, even on the tightest hook. The cups are also both too wide and too shallow - the wires sit about 2 cm away from my IMF on the side, the gore sits on breast tissue, etc etc.

I think if I got a cup bigger (which was not available when ... I first bought this, but L'agent now make all their bras up to an E cup) it would be the right depth for me, though the wires would then be even wider.

The cup itself is open on top (it's a demi bra, with the cup finishing *just* above my areoles) and supportive enough to make me feel lifted and naturally shaped. I tend to prefer wires that follow my IMF more closely because they hold my very soft tissue better - if you have firmer tissue, the wire width should not a be a problem for you.

I am definitely going to try this bra style from L'agent in an E cup to see how it fits.

My experience with this brand so far suggests that their bras run a band size small and a cup size small, i.e. the 32DDs fit like 30DDs. (My size is usually a 28F, so 32DD ought to be a sister size for me, but the cups are definitely too small.)

My shape: average root width; shallow, tall roots; projected; even fullness; very soft breasts.

How this bra fits me: the wires are absolutely perfect for my roots, following my IMF exactly. There is also lots of room for immediate projection. The bra doesn't have the apex projection I need, though, and squashes me, giving me rather a flat look from the side (see pictures). The top also cuts in. Because it isn't quite big enough for me, the sternum digs at the top, becoming extremely painful after about thirty minutes. I would be very interested to try this bra in a E cup (which L'agent now do!).

The band on this runs exactly one band size small. Stretched, it runs to 30 inches exactly. I therefore recommend this bra to anyone who is a thirty band. And if you are a 32 band, I suggest you size up.

In my pictures, I am wearing the band on the tightest hook.

This is a *serious* push-up bra - there's a definite "heaving Regency bosom" effect. The nude colour is gorgeous and the satin fabric is pretty. It's also *very* low cut, which means I finally have something I can wear under a dress that I used to go braless under (sadly no more due to going up a couple of cup sizes/gravity) without the top of my bra showing.

As a previous reviewer said, it has a very firm band - I could possibly have got away with a 34 but the shop didn't have one, and the 32 doesn't seem circulation-cutting-off tight. I'll see how it goes with a bit of wear. Cups are also quite shallow and not particularly big, if you're more projected you'd probably need to go up a size.

I wish I could find this in a 32E just so I could compare fit differences... BUT. This band is extremely loose - it's basically a 34 - and this bra is just not meant for actual, practical wear. The ribbon at the top cuts in on my soft tissue. I imagine this is meant (yet again) for more FOB, shallow breasts. Surprisingly, the fit was almost alright on my little boob (but not quite). Somehow I still love this design and look, though, because it seems that I'm increasingly into bras that would have horrified me when puberty hit.

    • I think that's how its supposed to fit. Because I think it's supposed to be slinky and badroom rather then as you said for normal wear.

Something I've tried that really helps with that little bit of quading is hand washing the bra in warm water aka taking it in the shower with me, then wearing it while it drys. It's like as the fabric does it's thing and the minor shrinking happens then the top edge relaxes a bit and the rest of the cup kind works with me better.

    • I totally know what you mean about the horror - I wear so many things now I would have sworn were the worst. Aesthetic of this bra reminds me a lot of the Elle Macpherson Intimates Daisy Chains Contour Bra (E72-979) (discontinued now that it's Heidi Klum intimates but still some floating around on ebay, and in drawers like mine)

    • cjarasmith , that's a great tip! I didn't know I could do that. I'll definitely try that out. I also totally agree - it's more of an indoor/private bra than anything, though I can see it being fine under heavy sweaters or extremely flowy shirts.
mailiana I was one of those girls who HATED anything vaguely feminine which is why it's actually really funny to me that I am completely about these looks now, lol! Also, I looked it up and this one in particular is the Lolitta's more practical twin, you're completely right!: http://www.ebay.ie/itm/NEW-ELLE-MACPHERSON-DAISY-CHAIN-CONTOUR-BRA-SZ-32DD-TICKET-PRICE-WAS-32-/401102411415?hash=item5d63911697:g:93UAAOSwLN5Wjq0r

    Hasn't set fit

The L'Agent by Agent Provocateur bra called Grace is available at Nordstrom in a color called Blush/Gold. Online it looks like a soft peach color. In real life, it looks light neon orange. The store didn't have any of my sister sizes (32E, 34DD, 36D), so I can't speak to sizing. The 32DD I tried on was predictably way too small and caused quadboob. I just wanted to warn everybody about the color. I had thought it would be a good nude-for-me, unpadded bra for summer, but the color alone makes the room feel ten degrees warmer. The lace material is a little scratchy, like most of this diffusion line's lace. It's not as bad as some I've tried from, say, Cleo.

This bra is almost perfect for me. It's gorgeous both on and off and the comfort is unbelievable. The wire perfectly encircles my breasts and doesn't poke me under the arms. The gore tacks (the underwires are placed pretty close together-they almost touch) which is something that doesn't happen often. The bra provides moderate support and the cup is fine on top. However, the band on this bra is tight, something that doesn't bother me too much because I know it should stretch eventually. The straps are only partially adjustable. All these I can live with and I would call it the perfect bra for me if not ... the shape it gives me. I feel like sadly, it's shape is not compatible with my shape. It doesn't really give me a round profile but it's so comfy that I don't really care about that. What I do care about is that somehow this bra gives me very slight quadboob *in* the cup itself-even though the top lies smoothly, there's not enough stretch or something in the middle seam that causes this slight quadboob. Because of this, if I could have returned the bra I would have but as it was unreturnable, and as, quite frankly, everything else is perfect I have chosen to keep this bra instead of reselling it.

Out of curiosity, if you put a bra extender on to lessen the stress on the cups, does the in-cup quad boobing go away?

    • I have no idea...I don't own a bra extender. I've learned from another user that this bra is not the best for me anyway. I'll pick up a bra extender next time I'm out and see if it helps, it's a good idea.
