  1. Power Of Pink

**So, I've got a huge update for everyone. Turns out this is too big for me by about 2 cups, possibly three! I discovered this while at work today when the bottom of that elastic band kept rolling up under the wires and then sticking between my ribs. 10/10 would NOT recommend doing this to yourself ever.
This rolling caused my cups to collapse and get pinched under the wires as well, all while my band stayed in my IMF zone. Very, very painful. I've never worn or owned a sports bra that was wired OR padded, so I misunderstood how to gauge the fit. I stand by ... the quality and materials and such, so I'm definitely going to give this a try in a smaller size, possibly the 65KK.**

Kris Line's new athletic line popped up on Zulily a couple of weeks ago, and I figured "What the heck?" and took the plunge. After reading reviews about how small the cup ran via Brastop, I opted to try the 65M, a cup size up from what MagdaBras4you and I were guesstimating I would wear in their soft cup size. I am not disappointed.

I was super nervous when I took it out of the box, guys. Seriously. I haven't had a properly fitting sports bra probably ever, and my heart was pounding! I got even more nervous because it felt pretty heavy? It was weird. The material was so soft though. It looked HUGE too!

It took me a little bit of time to measure it and such, and then on it went! I'll be honest, there might have been some tears. Never have I ever felt secure in a sports bra before that moment. The shape was pretty fantastic, not that I would have been terribly bothered either way. The support and lift this bra provides is pretty astounding. The straps are thick, which I think will help with them not digging in as I workout. The jump test passed with flying colors. While there was some jiggle, my tissue stayed quite secure. I'm sure I was smiling like an idiot the entire time I attempted this feat.

I do have some qualms with the bra, no matter how much I'm raving about it:

-The straps are difficult to adjust. I don't know if this was a sewing issue or whatnot, but mine look like they're almost twisted under the adjuster. I tried to adjust the fabric so it laid flat, but I think the width of the material is too wide for the adjuster. Not sure, will update if I manage to fix it.

-Because the straps are difficult to adjust, the J-Hook is kind of sitting awkward on me. I'm not sure if I like where it is placed. It might make some exercises difficult because the hook might dig. Think sit-ups/crunches.

-When the j-hook is connected, the armpit curve sits quite high. I anticipate rubbing. I'm hoping since the material is soft, it's not going to be awful.

Overall, while I haven't actually done a full workout or anything in it, I anticipate good results. I'm hoping it's going to be as fantastic as I'm imagining in my head. Haha.

I want to put a sidenote: while I have the gore measured at 5", that's actually where the underwires end. There's a mesh material that's sewn to the tops of the cups that I believe is intended to help with airflow, if you catch my drift haha. This mesh part goes up another 3", so the gore is actually 8" total.

Ooh, also, I'm wearing this bra on the third hookset.

Woohoo honey! I am so happy for you. πŸ’™πŸ’œπŸ’š Now I am second guessing my plan for ordering the 65KK from MagdaBras4you when it comes available.....but 65M sounds too big too/for me.... 😬 Eek!

    • 1

MamaPagan Magda was guessing my size at a 65L. Since we're essentially the same size and since the cups seem to run small, I don't think you're going to have an issue with the 65M, but if you're worried about it, maybe opt for the 65L instead. I think based on other people's reviews that the 65KK will be too small for you :O

    • 1

      Also thanks 😁

    • 1

Based on the depth measurements of this one, maybe. I might go with two then- 65LL and 65M to play it safe and compare. Maybe there will be less bounce with a 65LL. (It still sounds crazy huge though!)

    • 2

That looks great, and I love the name! I need one of these!

    • Make sure you size up Sovavosi. 😬

    • 1

MamaPagan Just try and remember that Kris Line has weird sizing. An M cup is more equivalent to Ewa's KK cup I believe? I hope I'm converting that correctly in my head buahaha

    • Sovavosi Thanks; yes you do! It's fab!

    • Ah I was wondering if these are wired. Might be worth a shot then!

    • 1

Size up? I was going to get the 65J or 65JJ, based on the measurement chart.

    • DerangedDragons19 possibly in theory, but the 60L Betty fits like the 60KK Ewa so.......inconsistencies or variations due to Sports Bra?

    • brasaremean Yep! It's underwired :)

    • 1

Sovavosi I did at least. Brastop had reviews saying the cup ran anywhere from 1-3 cups small :o

    • 1

MamaPagan Maybe both? I really think the M would work for you :)

    • 2

Small because it's small at the apex or short? It doesn't look that short.

    • 2

Sovavosi, sorry but I can't answer that with confidence. Reviews literally just said cups ran small

    • 2

    • 1

How weird. I don't know if that would apply to me though!

    • 2

Sovavosi Very! It's tough to say. I feel like I got pretty lucky though haha. 🀷

    • 2

Sovavosi based on the similarity in size between DerangedDragons19 and knowing you are typically a cup to 2 cups down from me depending on style, I wouldn't think you would want smaller than a 65L honestly. Definitely not below a 65KK based on our lovely friend"s fit here. Compression pain reasons alone. 😬

    • 2

      That seems so big 😰

    • 2

I think MamaPagan is right, Sovavosi. I'd say maybe TRY the 65KK if you're worried about the "big" factor and then take it from there 🀷

    • 2

DerangedDragons19 just pointed out to me that KL doesn't do a LL cup, haha so the M doesn't sound quite as crazy. πŸ˜„ Where did I see the LL?!? Ewa confusion I guess!

    • 2

MamaPagan It's tough to keep all the lettering and sizing correct for each brand :p

    • Indeed!

    • 2

Oh my gosh!!! I'm so happy for you!! It's so great that this fits..hmm I was thinking of trying a 65KK but I guess i'll have to size up now

    • 1

      Hey thanks!

      Absolutely size up Frazzleberry
I seriously believe you're at least a cup size bigger than me. I'd try the 65N if I were you. πŸ™ƒπŸ˜ If you play it safe, the 65M might fit, but I fear you might have quadding

    • 1

I second that 65N Frazzleberry. Size up!!

    • 2

Haha, MamaPagan & DerangedDragons19 I don't think I'm that brave to size up to an N, it sounds big. Lol.

Technically my perimeter measurements are smaller than you both (even though measurements capture the bigger picture sometimes). I've also been having a rotten luck with cup depth measurements for the bras I've recently measured..so who knows really πŸ˜…

I'll probably have to try a few more duds before I decide to take the plunge

    • 3

Frazzleberry oh love :( you're looking at the cup letter and automatically thinking, "WHATTT?! NO WAY!" when in all reality, my 65M KL transfers, roughly into an Ewa 65L. (Boy do I hope I'm coverting that right for you guys) That's really not bad, or far off, from what you're trying. I only sized up the cup because other reviewers said to do so. I feel like you would be pleasantly surprised with a 65N.

Meh. You've gotten rogue bras. Don't let it discourage you ❀️

    • 3

Frazzleberry Just think of it this way. If it's too big at least it will be wearable in the future while too small is just plan painful.

    • Frazzleberry Just think of it this way. If it's too big at least it will be wearable in the future while too small is just plan painful.

    • 2

We'll see ;) it all depends on how I feel on the day I'm ordering.. it would be great if I could find a relatively cheap stock somewhere to try though..

How are the cups structured btw? Is it cushiony like panache's sports bra or more similar to Freya's?

Not discouraged DerangedDragons19 just a bit wary, considering I haven't tried a "true" 60KK and 65K (aside from my Perla). Thanks though :)

    • 1

Frazzleberry, I know through Magda, you'd get their sports bras quite bit cheaper than I paid 😬

I don't know how to answer this question. I never tried Panache or Freya. All I know is that it's like a heavier, padded material that almost conforms to my tatas :) I'd put it on par with more of a cushiony feeling :p

True, but judging by your Perla, you would have needed to have sized up anyway 😁

    • 2

Haha that is true.. A 65K in EM is equivalent to arround an L maybe? (Honestly my previous KL fit was so weird I didn't even bother to try again. I think it was a mix of shape mismatch and size issues, maybe?)

Oh that's no problem. The cushiony feel, sounds more like around a panache, which is really great cuz I loved the feel of that one.

    • 3

The possibility of a good sports bra is quite a lure though

    • 2

I’m really confused on Kris Line sizes. I’d also like a sports bra or three that aren’t 32 bands 😜

    • 2

Mmm, I want to say yes, but I can't say it with much certainty buahhaha. I truly don't really know.
When I ordered a soft cup from Magda, we thought it best I try the KL 65L, which I believe she said was equivalent to the 65K EM. So I can infer that the 65M here is about a 65KK EM, or 60L EM.
I think the band on this runs slightly in between a 60 and true 65 band. :)

Isn't it though?! Never hurts to give it a whirl :)

    • 2

This looks and sounds fantastic! Thanks for the great review. I was really curious how these would be when I was looking through their catalog.

    • 1

veggiechic Hey no problem. I'll update it more as I actually get to exercise in it and such. I'm hoping for good things, and with how it feels, I can say with a little certainty that at least trying them is a good choice :)

    • 2

I went ahead and edited my review everyone!

    • 1

Oh no! That sounds so uncomfortable! Hoping you can find the right size since it seemed so promising at the start.

    • 3

      It was horribly uncomfortable 😭
I think once I get the right cup size, it'll be fantastic πŸ˜™ here's to being hopefully at least!

    • 1

I hope you find the right one soon! :)

    • 1

      Sorry honey. :-(

Hopefully Magda will be able to get them soon so we all can give them a try.

At least your experience will help us with sizing choices as well. For that, we thank you. πŸ’™

    • 1

      Thanks everyone.

Indeed MamaPagan. There's always that to look forward to now! πŸ˜™

    Hasn't set fit

I received this bra a long time ago from the wonderful Magda, as usual her service was great. Life just got in the way and I haven't had any time to add any review. But I'm doing up a review now..so yaay.

Okay first thing's first, the model name is the Active Black Sports Bra..I tried to add the model name to the bra, but for some reason the when I selected the link, there was a window appeared, but it was so tiny that the only thing I could see was the 'x' button, so I'm placing the model name here in the review for the time being... ... now onward to the measurements!

Unstretched the band measures 26 inches, and stretched it measures, 29.7 inches. That being said, as with most Kris Line bras that I've tried (not that much to be honest) the band fits, but it does have that feeling of stretch? I'm not sure if I'm making sense with this at all. Cup depth wise, I took both the minimum and maximum cup depth. The minimum cup depth was measured by hovering the cup between the knees and hanging the tape measure. This was recorded at 10 inches. The maximum cup depth was measured by stretching the cup over the knee. This was recorded at 13.5 inches.

This sports bra uses the encapsulation method, rather than compression (something prefer because I am not a big fan of boob sweat *especially* in the cleavage area. So because of this there are two separate cups, and a gore. The height of the wires at the centre gore measures around 4.5, but there is fabric extending above that hence the 7.2 gore height listed under the measurements.

The straps are padded at the front, with a width of 1.2 inches, and non-padded at the back, with a width of 0.75 inches in the back. Because of this, the straps are only half adjustable, a downside for short people. You could by-pass this issue though, by making use of the j-hook with converts it to a racer back and can also help for added support.

The cups are lightly padded and unlike Panache Sports bra, do not keep their own shape. There are 2 major sections to the cup, an upper double-layered stretch material, that follows the contour of the cup from gore to top, and the remaining portion of the cup. I do believe, if you can find your size in this bra it would be a comfortable fit.

Unfortunately the cups for this bra were a bit too small. Front and side boobage was the main feature of this fit, lol. It's not a drastic overspill just a lot of compression going at the upper-front section. The reduced overspill at the front, is also due to this upper stretch section of the cups, which could maybe be a good feature for people with full-on-top or tall roots. The gore, since it doesn't fit, doesn't lie flat. But to be honest, in most of my bras aside from EM, the gore does not lie flat. Also, even though the wire is under the bust, I sometimes get the uncomfortable feeling that it's not lying there? Idk if I'm explaining myself properly, but it's almost as if the bra is rest on the tissue and not under the bust. That's probably also due to the small cups though.

Unfortunately I can't speak to the support as, this doesn't fit me, but hopefully this helps someone.

Bummer! I have been waiting for your review, as I too am on an endless search for a Sports bra that fits and works as intended.
Hopefully you will find one soon. I know how difficult and frustrating the search is!

    • 1

MamaPagan thanks ...for now I think I'll just stick with panache (for sports bras) despite its issues, it's the only one that comes the closest for what i need.

I wish you the best of luck in your search also :)

    • 1

      Thank you too! πŸ’ž

    • 1

Thank you for the review. It is oddly small but this one looks like it might work out for me. I'll have to give it a try sometime.
