    Didn't fit

Gorgeous bra and I am *SO* disappointed.

My first half cup. Honestly, if it weren’t for the cups being slightly too tall, the wires being too narrow, and the straps being too wide, I think this could’ve been a win. Unfortunately, that is not the case.

This bra is a 2 part construction with a side support panel (so I guess technically it’s a 3 part construction) and is shaped like a traditional half cup (aka, vertical seam and shorter, open cups). Gives a lot of lift! It’s made of mesh with floral embroidery with lace on the band and an ADORABLE magenta bow on the gore with ... little tiny beads. The band is super stretchy, which is odd because Kris Line bras are typically pretty firm/tight. The gore is narrow, but kinda tall, and I don’t get a tack. I would say that the sizing is pretty true to Kris Line sizing, ie a 70HH is probably a good fit for a 34GG wearer, but it’s definitely for someone who is very narrow and FoT.

As you can probably see from the pictures, there are some major issues with this bra:

-wires are too narrow and sit on my tissue
-cups are slightly too open and have too much space
-it kinda mushes me in, but that helps fill the cups, so I guess it’s whatever, EXCEPT:
-it mushes me so much that the really soft tissue in the center/next to the gore spill out

I believe if the wires weren’t quite so narrow, it would fix a couple of the problems. For instance, if they were wider, my tissue would distribute better to the sides and less toward the middle, probably resolving the problem of the gore not tacking and the soft tissue overflow. I’m wondering if the band is actually too stretchy, which isn’t pulling the wires far enough back, but who am I kidding, it’s just not a match for me. I might hold on to it in hopes of something changing, or maybe I can just wear it for short amounts of time…like, this is a super sexy bra, and I’d just hate to have it stuffed in my drawer.

I wonder if you take the top hook and hook it onto the second or third set of hook and eyes it’ll pull the wire farther back and the band tension will be more evenly distributed. Because you said the wires are wider than your Ewa so I’m guessing the band tension is not evenly distributed (and also because it looks like it is riding up a bit in the back). Try giving this a try: http://widecurves.com/its-your-bra-band-tension/.

Loxus thanks for the suggestion! I do wonder if the band tension is the issue. The wires seem firmer than my other Kris Line bras as well. I did try this hook hack, but I think I did it backwards. I had the bottom hook looser and the middle and top tighter. I also tried it with all 3 hooks on the tightest setting and it did seem to help in many ways, like I almost had the gore tacking even!

Wait, which worked better. Having the top and middle tighter and the bottom looser or tightening it all the way? Was it too tight for you tightening it all the way?

Also, you did the hook hack right. 👍

Honestly, having all of the hooks on the tightest hooks worked best, I think! I’m pretty sure the band is just too stretchy. I’m under 30” on my super tight band measurement, so with this stretching to almost 34”, I think that might be the issue here.
