I heard this bra runs really small and the band runs firm, so I ordered a 65FF (30FF) when I usually wear a 28F/28FF. It ended up being a cup size too big . I really love it and it's gorgeous. The cleavage is wonderful and I would love to swap for a 65F in this bra.
I've realized that my problem with Kris Line is that it's designed for much more narrow, projected boobs than mine. I've had to go up several sizes to make the cup wide enough as to not hurt or push tissue out the side, and in such the cup is too deep in the center. This bra is obviously meant to give a push-up effect and it doesn't for me because the top is way too deep and open. It looks fine enough when I'm adjusting and standing up straight but after time my boobs settle way down into the cups, and spending time laying down on my friend's couch there was a ridiculous amount of space between the top of the cup and my boob. Also in walking around the stiff, embroidered straps were quite painful against my armpits. Also worth noting this band is longer than other bands on KL bras I've tried (closer to a Freya than a Cleo).
This bra is great for that extra push up and cleavage boost. It's a simple but pretty basic bra and I would compare it to the Victoria Secret Very Sexy push up shape wise, nicely lifts and rounded look under a tight tee. I had read this runs about a cup size small and I would agree as I normally wear a 65f. It's hard to find a push up in a larger cup and small band size, very happy I found this style!
After my roaring success with the Sharon half-padded bra, I went back to Kris Line for some more. Sadly, this bra was a disappointment.
The straps are set waaay too far apart. Wearing it for more than a very short period of time is painful as the very lacy straps rub my armpits raw. Also, the underwires are in a Nike swoosh shape instead of the U shape I like, and they're way too wide. The cups are much too shallow, as well. I'm pretty sure the only reading that I got a measurement of 9 inches for the cup depth is because the cups are so very wide. ...Also, the band is much, much too loose--I had to hook it on the tightest hook from the very beginning in order to feel comfortable.
Positive aspects include the very low, narrow gore. The padding is very impressive and I highly recommend this bra to anyone looking for a push-up. The cup fabric is soft and very nice. It is a very sexy looking bra, just not comfortable for my body and breast shape. Read more 73 more words
Based on others' reviews, Kris Line seems to run 2 sizes small if you're H+ and 1 size small if you're under H. Also supposedly the band runs very tight.
In this particular bra, I would definitely say the cup runs 1 size smaller than UK brands, but the band itself is very true to size and a bit stretchy. I had to wear it on the last hooks, there's 4 rows instead of 3. The straps are removable so you can wear this bra as a cross back or halter.
There is a significant amount of push up. This causes me to quadboob in the middle and not able to fill the top of the side of the cups since everything is pushed to the center. The wires are really flimsy so the gore has trouble tacking.
Overall, lovely bra, kind of a disappointment for me. If you are looking for a pushup and a multiway, this is a good choice.
Well, on the downside, the cups in this bra definitely run small. I need at least one more size up for the gore to have a chance at tacking. On the upside, I get *ridiculous* cleavage with this bra. There's a lot of padding in the bottom like a push-up, and it just puts EVERYTHING front and center. It's my go-to cleavage creator, my favorite "boob bra." I actually don't even feel terribly unsupported despite the too small cups. Everything more or less stays in place.
This bra is also, hands-down, the more gorgeous one I've ever had the good fortune to own. It's just beautiful. The lace along the bottom is detailed and delicate - it's layered to create a lovely depth effect. The fabric is soft and silky. The ripple/pleating ornamentation on the cups themselves is top quality. I could go on, but let's just assume that this bra is absolutely fantastic in terms of design.
