  1. Lace Non Padded Balconette Bra (113514)

    Fits

Probably the best £8 I've ever spent - this bra feels very well made, the lace is lovely but unobtrusive, and the grey (almost lilac) colorway blends in nicely under my white work blouse. I only wish I bought this bra in a 32G as the band is very stretchy!

    Didn't fit

I got these along with my other Figleaves items, I just didn't find this one in the Bratabase until now.

It's comfortable, more comfortable than my bras, which is why I've been wearing it as one. The cups are molded, but not stiff. They got slightly dented during shipping, but they pop back out when I put it on, so I didn't send it back. It's too wide in the wires for me, as most bras are, but it's not uncomfortable under the arms.

It is too shallow in the cup, and maybe too small altogether. The plunge gore is better for my close-set breasts, but it still edges on to my breast tissues on one side. Not a dealbreaker, but with the shallowness painfully pushing the wires into my body, it's a little uncomfortable.

The band runs tight, only stretching to 33". It has a plastic clasp, so there is no way to adjust it. A 33 is perfect for me, but people who are true to size will need to size down.

    Didn't fit

It's too tall for my short high-set roots, but that's inevitable. It's projected and narrow. The straps are wide set. It seems a bit cheaply made but I didn't pay much.

EDIT: After a few wears it has stretched out to the point that I need to use the middle hook.

  4. Lace Non Padded Balconette Bra (dd-g) (FIG-113514)

I find this bra fits extremely well and is very comfortable after a few wears. Other reviews had said it ran small so I sized up, the cups fit just right, though I probably could have kept the same band size. Most bras, I have a problem with quad-boob and spillage out under my armpit despite having the right size, but not in this one. The side comes up high enough for me under my armpits. I only wish it gave me a bit more lift, but that's okay. I like it so much that I bought it in another color.

  5. Underwire Lace Balcony Bra (1031)

Finally I figured out my size in this model - the band is tighter than most bras, though the cup is quite similar.
However, the underwire is quite narrow and the cup deeper.

It's a very pretty and cheap lace bra, and comfort is excellent, but it's more covering than most balconette - I'd say it's between a full cup and traditional balconettes.

This one is a deep red.

This bra is not owned any more
