Icebreaker is one of those buzz-worthy outdoors brands with a cult following, similar to Smartwool and Arc'teryx. Their marketing reminds me of American Apparel in the early 2000s with its edgy factor, but their target audience are outdoorsy people who need performance items that are moisture-wicking and won't hold onto odor. I can't say I've ever felt cute or edgy while in the backcountry or if it was even on my mind, but whatever.

This merino wool bra lives up to its technical specs: it keeps me dry, dries quickly when wet, doesn't get smelly, and is very easy to wash and care for. Just like every other letter sized bra though, the cups are way too small and the band is a little too big for me.

Very comfortable over-the-head (no hooks or other closure) wireless sports bra. Compression style, but the inside does have cup-style seams, which helps keep breasts slightly separated. I wear it without the removable padding, because they make the shape all wrong for me.

The merino wool is soft and not at all itchy, and is anti-odor and breathable. I can wear it comfortably several times before washing. Not too hot unless the weather gets really warm (here that's above the upper 70s Fahrenheit). The longline shape with very wide band and high neckline lets me wear this even though it's not really designed for large cup sizes.

For reference, ... @Icebreaker's size chart says the XL should fit bust measurements 40-42 inches and waist measurements 32-35 inches (I'm in that range).

Two cons: The racerback goes very high in the back, which puts more pressure on my neck and shoulders than I like. And the underarms scoop a little too low on me, showing a little bit of side boob cleavage/crack. Despite that, it's modest enough that in informal situations I can wear this alone as a crop top.
