I like this bra even though the band is a little too loose for me now. The foam padding is about 3/16" thick but is very soft and pliable. The straps are too far apart in front, which causes digging in under the arms in front; despite its looks, this bra is not comfortable. The underarms come up a little high but that is probably due to the size being a little wrong (I measure a 28DD/30D, and ordered the 32B in this bra because I was just desperate for a nursing bra).
Fitting note: The cups on this bra run *noticeably* large, so it might be a good idea to size down. This 32B fits like a C/D.
