    Hasn't set fit

This bra is absolutely huge on me. It is easily two, maybe three cups too big for me. I have some other bras in 42DDD (42E) that fit, but went up a band to see if it would be more comfortable. I should have gone down two to three cups. To get to fill in the cup even the tiniest bit, I had to pull the bra down almost to my waist. As soon as I removed them from the package I knew they wouldn't fit. Also, the coverage seems way more than should be there for a plunge. I think I'm going to try other sizes because this bra has the possibility of being comfortable for me (the gore is much lower than others I've tried and maybe with a smaller cup it will be even shorter).

Ive been wearing Gossard Superboost bras for more than a 2 years now. It was the first better fitting brand. The bra gives me a nice cleavage, however if it would have narrower wires the effect would be really WOW! The bra is rather comfy but the wires are the main issue, as they dont hold my breasts properly in my correct size leaving empty space on the sides, while the smaller size causes quadboobs. The colour is so beautiful - I think the best out of all superboosts.

    Fits

I really, really wanted to love this bra. The Twilight Blue was gorgeous on the website and just as pretty in person. It was on the higher end of what I prefer to pay for bras, and the quality is definitely there, but it just didn't give me the shape I would have liked or the magical cleavage I expected based on the pictures.

I resized myself as a 28G a few months ago, as I have a 27" rib cage, but I'm finding that some of my 28G bras cause too much rubbing against my ribs, leaving them really sore at the end of the day. For ... that reason (and because this bra starts at a 30 band), I decided to try the 30FF. In terms of fit, I have no complaints. Looking at it in the packaging, I thought the cup would be way too big, but once it was actually on, it fit great. After a scoop-and-swoop I have a tiny bit of quadding along the inside edge of the cups, but it goes away once everything settles. The straps didn't feel too wide and they adjusted more than enough for me; the underwire felt comfortably tight, and while the bra did push the girls together, I didn't feel like they squished or flattened them any.

In terms of construction, this really is a lovely bra. It's a 3-section cup, so it's not as firm as my Cleo Maddie Moulded T-shirt Bra (7201) , but it is lined, so it's also not as flimsy-feeling as my Freya Marvel Side Panel Bra (1501). The allover lace didn't feel scratchy against my skin, and it looked pretty durable despite its delicate appearance.

Now, the reason I'm not keeping this bra is because it gives me a pointier shape than I'd like. Not super pointy, but 'natural' pointy. Still, I prefer a more rounded silhouette, so this is a problem for me. The other issue is that I don't actually have much cleavage in most bras, and I was hoping this bra would help out with that, but it didn't actually do too much. It helped a little, but I didn't really get much more than I get with Maddie (which isn't very much). I've seen reviews where people have said that you should go down a cup size if you want the amazing boost shown in some of the pictures, but I feel like there would be too much of an issue with quadding if I did that. I have FOB, self-supporting breasts with average-wide roots, and there's just a bit of separation between them--less than an inch, definitely, but still enough that I usually need to wear a bra with some kind of padding if I want really awesome cleavage. While this bra does have removable padding for smaller cup sizes (according to the website), there is none for larger cup sizes, so you have to depend on the bra's shape itself, and unfortunately for me, that didn't work out.

    • I found Jeanie Parafait Affinatas to give me more cleavage than pretty much any other bra I have. I have a superboost lace too but I did size down in it but not for more cleavage, I found my usual size too big

    • 1

What a coincidence! I tried both Parfait Jeanie and Parfait Casey about a week before this one, and Casey was the better fitting of the two (it was my fault, though, I think I got Jeanie a cup size too large). If I remember correctly, Casey gave me about the same boost as the Superboost did. I didn't bother to reorder Jeanie in the smaller size because I felt that the coverage would still be a little fuller than I prefer, but perhaps the smaller size would have worked better for me for cleavage.

    • I have the Casey too but I did the opposite and ended up with the Casey one cup small instead so I've never worn it as much even though I like the shape.

I was shocked this size fits but it does and I really like it. I can get a tiny quadding towards the inside corner but its not noticable in a shirt and the next cup up was too big. The lace doesn't show under my white tank top either so that is a win! And the back doesn't cause any bulging even though it is so narrow. I like that the straps are also narrow making it easier to wear with more summer options. The first day I wore it I even forgot to take it off in the evening lol. I love that the padding is not thick either and doesn't gap at the top like I typically have happen. The gore is short which also makes the bra more comfortable than many for me.

The bra feels like it was made for me.
I have even fullness/full on top (depending on that time of the month).
    Very wide, pointy, conical shape.
Close set breast when supported, but very spread apart when not.

I thought this size would work as the 32dd was too big, but it seems I'm between 2 cup sizes, the 32d is definitely too small.
The quality is excellent and the colour is a perfect nude for me, but unfortunately I'll have to give up this cut.

    • I have a similar issue with its balcony sister in 30DD http://bra.pe/GCjG/. Looks like Gossard made these cups smaller, while the size above is too big for me too.

I bought this bra because I loved how it looked. The lace, details, and color are beautiful. The bra is pretty and it seems to be well-made, but the fit is all wrong.

The band feels looser than other bands in my size, the wires sit well below my IMF, the wires are too wide, and I have quad boob.

The straps are very thin and seem kind of flimsy and the band only has 2 clasps, which doesn't feel sufficient. I like 3 clasp bands.

The lace is lovely, but it doesn't give a smooth silhouette under form-fitting shirts. I also feel that this bra makes my boobs look slightly pointy.

    Didn't fit

This bra came up in Bratabase recommendations but in size 32DD. I ordered the size 30F because 32 would probably have been too loose.

There was gaping in the tops of the cups. That's often a problem for me in padded bras. Non-padded bras wrinkle in the top, padded bras give me gaping. I have zero upper fullness, especially after weight loss.

There is not enough immediate projection in this bra either. Too much space in the tops of the cups, too little in the bottom. The cups are too tall for me as well.

The straps are too far apart for me. I feel like they would fall off my shoulders easily.

The only positive thing about the fit for me is that the underwires are wide.

The appearance is nice and seems like a quality bra. The straps could be wider.

Didn't fit at all, so I will return this bra.

    Didn't fit

I was questioning whether I needed to go up a cup size recently, so I decided to try a 30E. I was hoping it would help with how much excess skin or tissue it looks like I have in my armpits and in back. The 30E is a smidge too big in the cups on top especially on the left side (my smaller breast). Even after I tried to pull as much tissue in from my sides forward, I still couldn't fill it out. I'll stick to 30DD for now.

    Fits

A bra that almost fits! I am probably a 26F, but 26 bands are hard to find so I am trying 28 bands. I added this to my cart on a whim, because it was a plunge bra that came in a 28E. The band is a little loose on the last set of hooks, but feels snug enough on the middle hook. I wish that it had more than one hook per row though! It feels a little insecure just having one.
The cups fit perfectly! I am close set (gores are always a problem), round, average? projection, and have tall roots. I don't have a single ... problem with the fit of the cup. The gore is very low, which is great for someone like me who is close set and mostly self supporting with firm tissue, so I don't have problems falling out but I could definitely see other people needing a higher gore. The wire follows my IMF perfectly.
My fit problem is with the straps-- they're much too wide. If I wear them where they're supposed to be, they will fall off. If I pull the straps in toward my neck, the cups distort and start to gape at the top. I think all my issues with this bra would be solved if it just came in a 26F, but it doesn't. For now, I'm going to order a racerback converter and see if that helps my strap situation.
