This bra is so beautiful. It was transferred to me from flija in very good used condition. I have quite a round profile normally because I'm center full and quite east/west, so I wanted to try a bra that gives a pointier look! Unfortunately the 30FF is just too small for me, but I do get a pointier profile and I love the colours and the design.
This is not a bra for wearing under t-shirts - the horizontal seam where the padded bottom half meets the mesh upper half is pretty defined under a t-shirt. But I think it will look great with more ...structured tops where the seam is less obvious. The mesh upper cup has two layers of mesh - the top layer has very subtle polka dot pattern. The construction of the bra is overall very good, but the top layer of mesh was sewn on much more loosely than the underlayer - it puckers a little at the corners, even though I am more than filling out the underlayer and the bra is actually too small for me. I am going to cut off the upper layer to see if that improves the look on me, and will post photos of the alteration later. The cups are quite closed on top, I am FOT and I have some trouble with them, so this design might be better suited to FOB shapes. But....it's beautiful! I love red and pink together and I am going to try and track down a 30G. Read more 151 more words
This bra's measurements have been altered
removed the upper layer of mesh from the top half of the cup (there are two layers)
I should have gone up one cup size on this but I'm keeping it anyway because it's so pretty. It seems best for FOB breasts. This colorway runs tighter in the band than the black Retrolution version. The top of the cups also have more give in this color than the black because it has a stretchy elastic trim.
Sadly, this bra was quite an odd fit for my boobs. The colours, construction and accents are all so gorgeous and unique! The orange fabric of the bra is soft and plush, but has a strange sort of straight shape that goes up ( sort of like: |}/ ). This contributes to a weird pointy shape, but not in a nice vintage way unfortunately. Since I am centre full and have a very small amount of tissue on the outside of my boobs, I can't fill the sides of the bra properly, which contributes to the the strange shape. The gore doesn't tack, ...either. I would say this bra actually fits more like a 28FF than a 30E- my other Gossard 30E has a similarly tight band (yay!) but MUCH smaller cups. The cups on this bra are definitely bigger than they should be, so I'd recommend sizing down at least one, if not two cups. I'm going to try wearing this bra for a little while to see if I settle into the fit, so I'll update after that!
Update: After trying this bra on again to photograph it, I decided that we're so incompatible that a full days wear wasn't really in the cards "/ Read more 108 more words
Since I wear Gossard bras in 30DD, 30E or 32D I hoped that 30E would fit, which was the only size available in my size range. This bra is slightly big for me and probably the wrong shape, too - the wires are too wide. Funnily enough it is very comfortable. I expect it would look better on someone FOT or even fullness - it doesn't seem to be FOB friendly. The colours are absolutely gorgeous, soft silky fabric and really wide straps, which I love.
Absolute stunner of a bra. Fiery red and fuchsia works really well together. The half-sheer retro look is very appealing and the strappy back band as well.
I also love the shape, it is reminiscent of a retro shape but without excessive pointiness. It's the sort of shape that's called a "good pointy". Gentle side support ensures that it doesn't get too east/west that tends to be the risk for me with a full cup shape - none of that here.
The band is nice and firm but not excessively so, just how I like it. Surprisingly doesn't cut in much even in the strappy part.
The straps are unbelievably comfy. ...The width works really well with the look and the inner side is soft and velvety. The same material is used as part of the band in the very back and to cover the boning that strengthens the transition area from regular band to strappy.
Generous and comfy three hook fastenings.
Unfortunately I have just a little bit too much top fullness for this cut. It fits my smaller side almost perfectly but cuts in on my larger side. If the top section was stretchy it probably would be a perfect fit It has a tiny bit of stretch along the top edge but that's not enough, it's more of a tease for me.
Would be perfect for a fuller 32G that's fuller on bottom or an average to smaller 32G that's even to fuller on bottom.
The bra is so fun and pretty I'm having a hard time considering selling it. Read more 153 more words
