This bra is perfect as far as aesthetics. Awesome color that is invisible under shirts for me. Botanical without being another goddamn floral, haha. I tried to sister size into it because the highest cup they make for this one in their sizing is J (my real size for them would probably be a 65M for them now), and it failed. This fits like a 32H or so for UK sizing.
The wires are nice and narrow. The band feels a little stretchy even for a 32-band.
The bra's cups are not projected enough for me at the wire, so that plus the band being too large has the ...bra sliding down my chest. The upper section of the cups is made of stretchy mesh, and its uppermost seam is stretchy as well. It might cut in for FOT people, but not as badly as a bra where that uppermost line is not elasticated (hate it when they do that...). Also a very comfy bra. These cups are so ridiculously tall on me! The wires are also quite wide - this is my true size, but I'd say this runs at least a size big. Gore is quite tall to suit, band is TTS and perfectly snug.
Construction is a 3-part half cup, rather than a traditional balcony. If you're a fan of EM 3HCs and/or you're quite full on top, you might like this. Bear in mind the edge of the cup is a fairly thick seam (similar to the Freya Deco Delight/Spotlight) which might show through shirts.
Another bra bought pre-finding out my cup size went up to size me out of even more brands :'). I learned that Gorsenia's unpadded cups run one size large though, so I think it's ok...?
Firstly, the shape on this bra. Wow! I know some people shit on globe shapes(not just in the bra fitting community, outside of that as well) for being unrealistic and anti-gravity, but this is actually the shape my stupidly FoT/tall root combination gives me in a bra so I am stoked. I am so, so ecstatic to say there is no quadboobing at the top. I did remove the mesh lining to make the ...silhouette more "globe proper" instead of a mild /| shape at the top, as it's very firm with no stretch whatsoever. Also changed the wires because they were something like 0.3in too narrow.
Immediate projection— not enough, as per usual. This isn't a dealbreaker for me since wrinkling at the bottom can't be seen through clothes. Finding a bra with enough openess on top is hard as it is and I don't want to be banished to halfcup land.
I also know that the bands for this brand tend to skew tight. Based on the bratabase measurements, this model specifically runs true to size? I went with 70 and it measured 30in (1 inch from my tight,) I still find that comfortable but YMMV. Read more 124 more words
I love this bra so much! I've found it difficult to find padded bras for bigger busts that also have good cleavage, and this fit the bill - as well as being pretty good value! For reference I'm generally a UK size 32GG, with a snug underband of 32in and a leaning/standing/lying avg bust of 42in; close set, full on bottom.

Marine K276 is the padded demi cup version of Marine, with foam lined half cups in solid turquoise and a scratchy turquoise and white lace pattern on the cups. The padding is thicker than most of the polish foam lining, and these cups have pockets for pushup pads but does not come with cookie pads.
I removed the lace from the cups as it was very scratchy and looked horrible and bulky under clothing. My photos reflect the bra with this lace ...removed.
The band measures 25.5” to a max of 33” with 3 hooks and 3 rows of eyes. I shorted the band by an 1” or so in an attempt to make it wearable for me, as shown in the photos as well.
Cup Depth as measured by: 1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance. This measurement is: 11.25”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance. This measurement is: 12.5”
I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.
The cup height is 7.5” and is a half cup style. My original (delusional) assessment was: The center gore doesn’t tack, instead the wires sit on the breast tissue, but due to the style I assume this is actually what this bra is supposed to do, as it cradles the breasts while pushing them in and up. Unfortunately my nipples kept escaping over the top of the cups and I had a lot of quad boob so it was clear the bra was too small in the cup and the height of the cups not ideal for my breasts. I tried wearing it, but I was falling out all over the place, and no amount of tucking back in worked, and the quad boob was very noticeable under a tank. If they made it in a larger cup, I would have tried it again as I did like the lift, but alas, the J cup is the largest they made, so this one was a no go.
I do now realize I was in a fantasy world, trying to make this bra work for me, but hey, we all have our learning curves and mental blocks, right? Needless to say, this one went along to another to try last year.
This bra is quite comfortable, really deep cups! The lace is quite prominent and does show through shirts. Band is TTS. I'm not a huge fan of the straight line that I get from the high cup/high gore combo, nor am I a fan of the somewhat E-W profile, but YMMV.
The gore just about soft tacks, I'm way too centre-full for this cut though! I accidentally ordered this bra a cup size too large so I got a lot of gaping, but I feel this brand runs large regardless unless you happen to be very full on top. The wires are also quite wide on me but this may be a sympton of it being oversized.
Great bra for VFOT, average-width, projected breasts, not so great for everything else.
70 J EU (32:10 Index per bratabase) Although very different styles and seaming (e.g. Lucy is not padded, Gorsenia is), this bra has some similarities to Cleo Lucy, at least for me.
Cleo Lucy 32 GG compared to Gorsenia Giuliette 70J:
1. Gore Height--Same as Cleo Lucy-- comes up too high. Lucy starts higher, so has a shorter measurement. 2. Cup Separation--Same as Cleo Lucy-- too separate, at least at that height 3. Wire Length--Pretty close to Cleo Lucy, but a little shorter/ narrower 4. Cup depth--- Cleo Lucy is a little deeper. 5. Strap Width-- Both are very similar. Too wide for me with wires and cups digging into my ...tail of spence (I'm 5'2" tall, and short-waisted) 6. Gore Tack-- The gore on Lucy dug into my sternum at the top when I first wore it, but over time it's adjusted to my body and doesn't dig in anymore. The Gorsenia doesn't quite tack at the top. My breasts are close/ practically touching, when supported (due to center/ inner fullness) and both gores are too high up on my body.
The Gorsenia Giuliette seems to give a tad bit more lift and is slightly more pointy. It has 2 vertical seams & padding, whereas the Lucy has 1 vertical seam, 1 diagonal/ horizontal seam & no padding. Gorsenia's band seems tighter, but that's likely because I've worn the Lucy a few times now. I hated both when I first tried them on, but the Lucy has become more comfortable with wear.
