I feel like this bra was made for someone with higher set breasts than me. When I first fastened it (without scooping and swooping) the bottom of the bra actually laid across the middle of my breasts, just below the nipples. After adjusting it, I figured that the underwires would be a problem under my arms, as it was poking me slightly. Funny enough, when I wore it the next day, I barely even noticed that. However, the center gore was definitely not the right shape for me. I've got rather close set breasts, that are possibly also a little splayed (My reason for thinking that is that ... braless they hang sideways rather than down), so I definitely had a gore shaped indentation in my cleavage/sides of my boobs when I took it off. The straps were definitely at the very edge of my shoulders, didn't slip off, but it's not the sort of bra I'd be able to wear a sleeveless top with. It's funny that I have so many issues with a bra that I actually quite like, but I'm almost done talking about those, and then I'll get to the stuff I like about this bra. I didn't list this bra as riding up in the back, even though it kinda felt like it was, because it felt as though the whole bra wanted to ride up, instead of just the band. However, given as the front was weighted down, it didn't really go anywhere. Alright, now on to what I liked about this bra. It's absolutely adorable! I mean, seriously, cutest bra I've ever owned. I fell in love with it the day I first saw it. There are buttons on the gore, the print is great, and the colours are some of my favourites. Not only that, but the fabric it's made out of is incredibly comfortable. The inside of the cups feels kind of foamy, but not in a bulky way, in a soft, embracing sort of way. Also, it's hard to tell from the pictures, but the straps, top of the cups, and top of the wings are actually pinstriped, and not just solid green which I love. I'm still planning on wearing this one regularly, as the issues it presents don't bother me too much.
Side note: I'll get pictures and measurements up once I find my measuring tape/camera memory card/reader

  2. The underwires on this bra are slightly longer than on the Freya balconette-plunges, which is ideal for me as I often find that the wires are not quite high enough on the sides. I could actually have them two inches higher again and still not be stabbed in the armpit! The cup fits perfectly on my larger side, but even with the strap tightened, there is still a small amount of gapping near the centre gore on my smaller side. Luckily it doesn't show, even under a tight T-shirt.

  3. This bra provides a really great shape and fit for me. I have narrow-rooted breasts and Freya bras have been a revelation. The only problem is a little gapping under where the straps meet the cup. However, the next size down in the cup was definitely too small. After some thought I've come to think I get gapping despite being full-on-top because I have very short roots.

At any rate, the gapping doesn't affect the comfort or even the look of the bra. The bra also gives me a very nice shape, pushed out in front but still rounded.

In terms of looks, I was initially a bit hesitant to try this one one. It's very sorority sister, and I'm very 36 years old. However, once I tried it on I was sold - in addition to the great shape it gives, it looks cute, not saccharine. And it grows on me every time I look at it. Definitely happy with this one.

I put this bra on, and angels started singing. After trying dozens of bras in and around my new size, this was the one.

I am relatively shallow for my size and have no fullness on top whatsoever, and I had been encouraged to try a Freya half cup style. It flatters my shape and is one of few bras on which I can fill the tops of the cups. It's so comfortable that I was able to wear it all day almost immediately.

There's a little bit that folds over the ends of the wires under the arms, which helps prevent stabbiness. It ... comes up to a perfect height under my arms; it contains what it needs to without cutting in where it shouldn't. The shape is flattering and looks good under clothes. The vertical seams haven't shown through any clothes I've worn with it. The gore is a good height and doesn't stab at me.

Once I get used to wearing bras in my actual size (thanks for nothing, VS), I will probably go down a band to a 30G, but I need to get used to my band carrying my boobweight first. I've been wearing this bra on the second hook from the beginning; it's true what they say about Freya bands, they're stretchy.

The fabric is opaque on the front, and feels almost more like swimwear than a bra. (Not uncomfortably so, if you're used to padded/lined bras as I am.) This bra fits me well enough that the difference in my breasts' sizes is obvious; to fix this, I slip in a liner pad thingy from an old Genie Bra on my smaller side, and then I'm good to go. It's totally invisible under the bra.

The pattern is fun. I have the denim color, which has a few different shades of blue mixed in with a bit of salmon. The straps are wide and comfortable, and striped with the darker blue color from the pattern.

This fits so great that I've purchased a Freya Ginny Padded Half Cup (1263) , which has the same cut, as well. I'll likely get a Freya Lauren Padded Half-cup (4821) too, in order to rotate them through the week. If you're a larger cup size but shallow, this bra is amazing.

Nice shape, comfortable. I'm fairly shallow and it works really well for me. It doesn't have quite enough immediate bottom projection for me which causes some slight wrinkling in the bottom of the cups, but the wires aren't being pushed down at all, so it still works really well.

Every Freya bra I've tried on has been wonderful, this one is no exception. Great shape, perfect underwire. I am quading out just a tiny, but the 30G was too big.

This is one of my favorite bras, looks-wise, very cheerful and summery. The cute little wooden buttons on the gore are a nice change from bows. When I bought it I was right on the 30/32 borderline and the fit was great. I promptly gained 5 lbs and am now firmly in 32 territory and this bra feels awkward with an extender.

The shape is a nice bridge between natural and round. The gore is nearly high enough to contain my very soft tissue, but vigorous movement still requires some resettling. These padded half cups are definitely more shallow than the mesh balcony plunge styles Freya makes.

So comfortable for me! I'm more often a 38FF but I found this in a local store on clearance for a great price and its comfy enough and cute enough to ignore the slight quad boob on my bigger side - it fits my smaller side perfectly! Also have a little bit of wrinkling at the bottom of the cups, but its not visible through a shirt.

  9. I'm pleased with this bra - it gives nice support and the band is a good tightness, but not strangling me when new like some of my 30s from Cleo and Panache.I have a very slight gap after wearing it for a while at the far outside edge of the top, but this happens to me in basically every bra since, for whatever reason, I have no real breast tissue there. The gore is also short enough to behave itself okay with my close breasts. I also would like to mention that the straps do need to be tightened so the clasp is just an inch below the tops of my shoulders - don't know why they are so long on this bra! They do adjust all the way through the front though, so they could go even shorter if someone needed. The wires are wider than I need but not uncomfortable so this is a keeper!

The wires are too wide, although the cup depth is ok. I think I prefer lower gores, although this was the first non-plunge bra I have tried on. The band feels much too big for me, I am getting used to Parfait By Affinitas tight bands so I am not sure I can wear a 30 band in Freya anymore.
The material lining the cups is very soft and comfortable, it almost feels fuzzy. I have never tried on a bra like this before. The strap is made of a different material that is also soft.
