    Didn't fit

I was pleasantly surprised by this bra! The fit is a lot better than most of the newer Freya unlined plunges. This is really similar to the Freya Jolie Plunge Balcony (4101) bra but the side wings feel a touch higher on this bra, which works better for me. It is narrow and projected which is nice to find in this size. Also, I love the striped straps!

I marked the comfort as poor because of the underwires. Holy hell did they hurt. They stabbed me at the tops of the gore and both outer edges. I bent them so the tops were angled away from my ... body but thy still hurt.

However! I altered this bra a lot after I took pictures and measurements. I narrowed the gore so it overlaps at the top, and I removed the underwires and replaced them with different ones from an old bra. I knew that hoarding old bras would come in handy. I also left the center bow off. The charm in the middle of the bow was sparkly and too juvenile. I'm looking for something to replace it with.

For now I'm wearing this on the tightest hooks and it feels secure. I'll probably have to take in the band at some point.

With a bit of crafting I have turned this into a comfortable and supportive bra.

Adorable on you! Thriled you were able to alter it into a "fitting" bra :-) :-)

Cute design, looks good! Plus I think you just motivated me to do some crafty alterations on a couple of bras sitting in my closet!

    Didn't fit

This bra and my teal Curvy Kate Angel were part of my first shipment from BraStop.

I am still trying to figure out my Freya size, and this is not it. The cups are very clearly too small, cutting into my breasts along the top, and dragging them down into a weird pointed-down shape. The band seems to be similar to my other Freya bra, maybe slightly smaller (although this may be due to the fact that my other bra is slightly stretched already), and I think I need the next band down in Freya.

I am not a huge fan of the appearance of this bra. The color ... combination does not strike me as particularly attractive - something about the nice, toned down grey stripes paired with bright pink embroidery turns me off. I also don't really like the embroidery on the sheer upper part of the cup, which appears to be a series of pink hearts with long trailing ribbons below them. To me they look rather like a row of pink octopuses! There is also a tiny, silly, sparkly plastic heart sewn onto the bow at the center gore.

I know this review seems pretty negative so far, but there's nothing really wrong with this bra - I just don't particularly like the way it looks. Now, the one thing I really do like about this bra is the straps, which are a creamy off-white color with little decorative loops along the edges, and plushly padded. They seem like they would be really comfy in the long term.

To sum up, this is a nice quality bra with soft, comfy straps and some silly embroidery. I don't plan on re-ordering this bra in a different size, however I will use what I learned from this bra as far as sizing to find a seamed Freya bra that better suits my visual tastes.

  3. I've been eyeing this bra for a while, so I was really happy when it arrived. What I like most about Freya bras is that they always come in fun colours and patterns and this one is no exception. I absolutely love the mesh and embroidered top panel. One thing that's different about this bra, than with Freya bras I tried on in the past is that striped fabric (on the cups) is also on the straps, but it's still fully adjustable.

The fit was great, I didn't have any issues with that. The shape it gave me was alright, natural and a ... bit rounded. I would probably only wear this bra with slimmer fitting shirts. When I tried it with a looser shirt, I looked a bit pointy, but when I tried a tighter fitting t-shirt, I was better able to see the curve under the breast so it looked better in my opinion.

Overall, it's a cute bra. I don't like it as much as the Panache Andorra, but it's still a good one. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

Edit: So I wore this bra today and I've concluded that I'm not overly fond of the shape it gave me. Kind of pointier than I'd like.

I have been eyeing this Freya pattern so happily snapped it up when it became available through Bratabase. I have a number of similar styles in the same size so the bra is a good fit. While Bratabase categorizes this bra as not fitting, I have a standard alteration of adding a cup liner to make it fit well. I can patch the previous gore repair with a bow and it should be good to go. Pleased to give it a good home!

I bought this when I still thought a D cup would be necessarily "big" enough & because of the super cute Sophia - style.

Love the color scheme of this bra, fits really well and very adjustable via the straps. The mesh part and the cups themselves aren't very stretchy but that's what makes this bra so supportive.

This bra is what I would consider to be a "perfect fit" for size 30G. I am truly impressed with Freya's sizing standards, and rely on the brand heavily because of it.

I love the fit of this bra. The material is very soft and comfortable. I don't particularly care for the see-through mesh material, though.

  8. I really liked this bra when I saw it in online because I thought the colours were a bit unusual. I still like the look of the bra. Unfortunately, I hate the shape it gives me. It does not suit my breast shape at all. It fits okay but it gives me an east west shape that points down which makes it impossible to wear under all my clothes. I tried it on when I first got it but once I saw the shape I never wore it. It is too expensive to return because of the shipping so I'll be selling it. Totally disappointed with it. I still love my other Freya bras though. This one just didn't make the cut.

This bra is nice, it is a tad big in the band for me though. Gives a nice natural shape, but is rather like a boulder-holder as Invest in Your Chest says. I prefer a very uplifted, cakes on a plate shape with my breasts up and out.
