    Didn't fit

Still not sure if I'll keep this one...

The lace overlaying the cups didn't initially appeal to me (it made me think of patio paving/spiders gone wild...), but it's very soft to touch, almost cotton-like, and it's quite an unusual pattern for lace. Very witchy and gothic while still modern - not an easy combination to find. It looks pretty fragile in places, I'm a bit worried about snagging.

The straps are slightly padded with a beige, velvety elastic - I love this, the plush underside is nice against the skin and it makes the straps, which are fairly narrow, more comfortable. They do seem pretty stretchy though and ... are quite long to begin with.

The cups are lightly lined with a layer of beige foam. It's thicker than the Patsy Halfcup, but not as thick as the lining for Cleo Mimi. The wires are a little wide for me - my main complaint with the fit - but they're average to narrow for a UK bra I think. I tried on the 30F and the wires were almost perfect on me, but unfortunately I had a bit of quadding to go with them. I'm even to FOT and the cups are quite closed at the top so the quadding is probably part shape issue. Under a t-shirt the diagonal seams are a little bit visible, but not as bad as some other padded plunges I've tried (Cleo Devon for instance...). The profile is slightly peaked on me and not particularly uplifted, and the shape I get from the front is fairly wide/east-west.

The charm at the gore is a bit odd - it's a very simple gold coloured semi circle, I guess they thought it fit with the modern/geometric lace? Anyway it flips up on me rather than laying flat.

The band also feels pretty stretchy, so if you're in between sizes I would go for a 28 over a 30.

Material feels on the cheaper side, has a stray thread on left breast cup, almost scratchy material but tolerable. Band is a little tight. Good amount of padding

The fit of this bra is really strange on me. The gore sits on top of my (close-set) breasts, but there is empty space at the outer tops of the cups.

As with most Freyas, the band is a bit large so if you are on the smaller side of your band size, or if you prefer a snugger feeling band, you may wish to size down here.

Unfortunately the cups were too tall for me (short roots), so the tops were nearly completely empty and wrinkly. There was even a tiny bit of extra room in the middle of the cups, so for me I probably could have gone down a cup size and maybe been okay, though I'm concerned that may have just resulted in spillage near the gore (a common problem of mine). Overall, the bra was not a great match for me.

Ugh! I love the look and feel of this bra! And how it has some padding but not a lot! But it just doesn't fit. The tops of the cups are just empty and wrinkly despite fitting great everywhere else. I don't trust my sewing skills enough to attempt altering it. I'll try a cup size down and see if that helps at all.

Also, I wouldn't call this a punch. The gore is like 2" tall and the cups are very full coverage.

This bra is so close to fitting! I love the soft velvet like pattern over the nude cups.

The wire in this is nice and short, which is great for my narrower roots. I also like that the cup padding is very minimal. The fit and overall construction reminds me a lot of my beloved Simon Perele Caresse 3D bra, but with a much better price tag and fun design. It is also more projected than the Caresse- a good thing for me.

I have some slight quadboobing that is likely a mismatch of my soft tissue with the molded shape. I seem to do well in other ... 28FF/30F sizes in Freya that are unlined with similar measurements, so I think it’s an issue of materials and not sizing.

I’m unsure if I’ll keep it. I just might since it’s the best fitting bra I’ve tried so far. I do have some Ewa’s on order so fingers crossed that Polish bras will do the trick.

It’s a great bra if you loved the Simone Perele Caresse 3D Plunge. I also recommend if you are looking for a fun, lightly padded bra and you don’t have issues with quadboobing due to soft tissue & material mismatch.

Band runs large by a couple of inches. I needed to put it on the tightest hook to make the center gore lie completely flat. I like the immediate projection at the wire. Like other Freya bras I’ve tried, the cups would fit perfectly except there’s a wrinkle at the very top. I’m going to be returning this.

I think this bra is similar to a full cup. The plunge is not very low. And it both cuts into my breast tissue and has a large amount of empty space at the top of the cup. The gore is much higher than it looks in the stock photo. Maybe it would work better for FOT or even fullness. The cup also seems large for a 30FF.

I really love the Freya Urban Echo Padded Plunge Bra I got a few weeks ago, and since then I've been searching for other styles in the same silhouette. While Soiree Lace doesn't come in my normal size of 28E, I decided to try the 30DD knowing the band would be too big, since I am willing to alter the band if necessary if I love the rest of the fit. Sadly, this is not the same fit as Urban Echo, as the cups are quite tall on this style.

This is a three piece plunge cup made from soft foam batting. The foam feels a ... bit thicker and puffier than on some other Freya padded styles, but is basically the same thickness. The measurements of the cup are overall quite similar, though Soiree Lace has a taller cup, which also ends up measuring wider since this is a plunge style. While the bottom of the cup fits me the same way that Urban Echo does, this just comes up too tall on my body, leaving the entire upper cup pretty empty. Furthermore, the taller cups are also cut higher at the sides, so they feel super high under my arm and chafe badly. So, the fit of this bra definitely isn't a dupe for Urban Echo, and doesn't work for me. I have tried quite a few other Freya styles recently designed for taller breast shapes (not just tall roots, which I have, but overall more vertical fullness), and I think this might work if those styles (Idol, Muse, Chi, Deco) work for you. I haven't tried Love Note yet, but I am pretty sure that it is also the same fit as this.

The band of the Soiree Lace measures in line with other Freya 30 bands, but I actually found it to be quite firm and not overly large on me so I marked the band as actually fitting. I would say this band is more true to size compared to other brands, so there is no need to size down to accommodate for Freya's typically too large bands. It is made from plain, firm powermesh, but I think the textured elastic used adds extra stability.

As far as the bra's quality goes, I don't like the feel of the materials or trims at all. The lace is a very thick, fuzzy nylon lace with a pillowy handfeel, not the thin, smooth lace I prefer. I think they chose this to imitate the look of a cotton lace, but I don't think it does this successfully. The bottom cup has a close set abstract geometric pattern, and the upper cup has a more open abstract geometric pattern. The straps are narrow but firm, as the elastic also has a geometric pattern knit into the upper layer of the elastic. Note that this texture makes the straps difficult to adjust, but they will stay in place as the texture does not slip. The bottom edge elastic has an open lattice pattern. The only trims are a little folded over ribbon at the strap attachment and gore, and a small gold half moon charm at the gore. Not my favorite, but not the weirdest from Freya. The main thing I don't like about the fabric is that the fuzzy lace looks and feels cheap to me, and I can see it snagging easily. The interior of the cups is also lined with poly rather than cotton, so this is not a bra for people who prefer the feel of natural fibers, and it doesn't have the cool handfeel of many other Freya bras that make them perfect for summer.

This isn't a bad bra, but the shape and materials aren't for me.
